Nice.....but uh, who's got the best record in the AL? Oh right, we just beat up on all the lowly teams of the league though. So, I guess we'll just keep right on doing that and continue to be behind only the Dodgers for the best overall record in the league. It won't hold. I mean, the Rangers are due for an East Coast road swing, and even if the Red Sox and Blue Jays aren't playing the best baseball in the world, both clubs are better than the Rangers (and the Yanks being better kinda goes without saying.) To make a tired point, no teams from the Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington area ever make noise when it counts. ;D

I worry about seeding when we to September. You have to top your division first, before you focus on other division leaders.

I'm simply analyzing the smoke and mirrors that are the Rangers. Speaking of smoke and mirrors, The Thief is at it again vs. the Yankees.

Good two run shot by Teixeira to cut the Indians' lead in half.

Was that a "You Can't See Me" from Derek Jeter just then?

Was that a "You Can't See Me" from Derek Jeter just then? It was a safe signal. He was safe on the last ground ball he hit but was called out. After 7.5, it's Cleveland 4, Mark Teixeira 4

No matter what happens, Carl Pavano is not going to beat us.

14 for 14, ERA near .70 for Krod.
Oh and can we please find a way out for Putz? He's terrible.

Jeremy Reed is one of my favorite bench players in quite sometime. Also, the players we gave up are nothing too too special. Joe Smith has been shit in Cleveland, Mike Carp is not as good as his AAA numbers indicate and the others are average at best.

Also, the players we gave up are nothing too too special. Joe Smith has been excretory matter in Cleveland, Mike Carp is not as good as his AAA numbers indicate and the others are average at best. We got Endy Chavez, who has been doing quite well in Seattle(we used to have a ton of guys like him, but then we quit signing guys like that), and most of all, we got rid of Putz(who never was the same after coming back from his rib injury). Also, we got Franklin Gutierrez, who has become a key part of our outfield from Cleveland when we traded Heilman away.

It looks like the Yankees are about to lose. We still need to fix the bullpen. They suck.

I'd like to thank Joe Girardi for not sending Brett Gardner in the top of the ninth. Singlehandedly cost the Yankees the game.
