So? Any person who thinks they can fly is an idiot. He was a nine year old child. I agree with you that wrestling should not be to blame, there are crazy stunts on all TV programmes and his parents should have been watching him, but calling him an idiot is harsh.

So a child falls to his death, his best friend who has just lost his pal is quoted in the papers saying that he thinks he may have been trying to replicate a computer game action and suddenly the boys an idiot and WWE are "scapegoats" - yeh damn them all eh?

So the idiot jumps to his death and wrestling is getting the blame? Harsh. The kid was only nine. Kids can have very wild imaginations and are influenced greatly by imitations. If the guy was 18 then it would of been more appropriate to call him an idiot.

My question is where the hell were his parents when he got up to the roof? Children seem to have a tendency to get up on roofs.

So the idiot jumps to his death and wrestling is getting the blame? harsh much? well how many nine year olds do you know that are going to jump off a 10+ story building thinking a plastic bag parachute is going to stop him from killing himself? yes its tragic that he died, but most kids that age aren't that stupid also at what point in the game did Hardy use a parachute? because unless he did i'm going to say bs he was trying to imitate a WWE video game

This reminds me of the Onion article, "Cool Toy Banned Because of Three Dumb Kids." Seriously though, how does the kid get on the roof, Chiquita or someone, should have stopped him. Not only that, but how doesn't he know that he can't fly when he was in 3rd Grade. The building owners should have fixed that alarm right when it broke. Shouldn't the mother have taken him to the store or dropped him off at the friends house.

He just thought the "parachute" would keep him safe.

As i already said where did i say the death wasnt SAD? When your first reaction is to dismiss the event as some "idiot" doing something stupid you kind of strongly give the impression that compassion and sadness aren't exactly at the forefront of your mind, to be blunt.

Can we please though get some perspective on the whole "scapegoat McMahon" thing....this is just what his friend, a boy likely of the same age who's coping with the death of his mate, thinks might have been the case. It's a bit much to get up in arms about the media having it in for WWE on the basis of that is it not?
I wonder if the kid said he was trying to immitate superman if everyone at MarvelCrap.com would be outraged at the needless scapegoating

It does seem like the WWE association is just something pondered and not blamed; a child performing a wrestling move is them immitating wrestling, a child jumping off a building is as much a comparison to Batman, Spiderman, Superman etc as it is wrestling, and certain films and characters can't be blamed. f*** Nevermind, there are times when certain things shouldnt be said. You're pathetic. Go watch wrestling or attention seek somewhere else you sad, sad woman.

People may very well have the right to call a child who fell to his death stupid or an idiot, but I retain the right to think that person is an insensitive jackass.

terrible. But I cannot believe that a nine year old would still think that was something he could do.
