I haven't "had it in for him," at all. He was my favorite wrestler in WCW for a while, before he jumped to the WWF in 2000. I liked him for about a year then, and since like 2001, he hasn't entertained me a bit. Some of his matches have been good, every now and then on pay per view... but it's not worth me having to sit through his boring routine on RAW or SmackDown every week. Especially not with the friggin' attention that guy gets. People complain that he isn't highlighted enough... well, hell, he wins just about every match he's ever in any more... the problem is, he isn't charismatic enough. Sure, Benoit might win, but who gives a s***? He's just bland.
I wish he would step his game up, honestly. I could like him again, if he could wrestle like he used to, but the honest truth is, he hasn't wrestled like that in years. And currently, he sucks worst of all, in my book. Well, he's not the worst in the company, but for the credit he gets, for as crappy as he is... he's my most hated.

He isn't as good as he once was, but I still like him, and it doesn't mean that you can't hate him, either. He seldom botches spots, his moves are finely tuned, every one of his actions look intense and he can get the crowd into a match when he's given enough time. Perhaps that's not enough for everybody's tastes, but he can't help that. And Curtrok, perhaps Benji botched one or two cradles, but so what? He had Flair in the Figure Four and was able to perfectly execute a cradle on Orton at the same time. That doesn't sound like someone who's a regular at botching.

I attribute that to Randy Orton's work ethic double you. It seems that more often than not Benjamin botches the simple stuff. I know people are going to botch the complex stuff but Irish whips and cradles come on, your a pro. I'm not saying he isn't good I'm just saying for someone with sub par mic skills who botches the basics Benjamin gets too much credit.

He's botched some crap recently, but over the two year span of his career, he's been pretty fluid. And did you just give credit to Orton? C'mon, the guy botched a clothesline spot at 'Mania.

The Orton thing was a joke. Like I said if somone goes for a 900 suicide dive plancha of death of the top of flamming cage and botches it I don't care. But I never saw guys like the million dollar man botch an irish whip. Every single one was exactly the same every time.
Now you see it all the time, guys missing legs on russian leg sweeps making them look like russian fall in a big heap. Botched sunset flips and victory rolls irritate me because it seems like they aren't trying to put on a good match anymore.
Who caes if we botch a move or two the fans will keep watching anyway. I know your supposed to suspend your belief but its hard when your opponent is trying to help you get his leg in position so he doesn't look like a total tool when you pin him.
If a bunch of guys who were out of shape by today's standards could have three matches a night in three different cities and not botch the basics to hell, then these guys should be able to do it too.

WWE does have a tendency to hire young and inexperienced workers (Masters and Orton, to name a few) who are prone to botching moves and who aren't familiar with some of the basics of wrestling.
Even if Benjamin is renowned for botching moves (which I won't buy), he has contributed to every great match he's been a part of. At Vengeance 2003 (Rey/Kidman vs. WGTT), Shelton carried a good portion of the match. In his match with Shawn, all of the spots were on time, and it even looked like he took the SCM like a man.
I could go on, but the point I'm trying to make is that occasional botching can be damned if a young star like Shelton can wrestle like a pro.

Benjamin can wrestle but Orton just needs to stay home.

Again, I'm not trying to say Shelton is a bad wrestler, I think he's quite good. But fans are clamoring for a world title push and I think that's a bit much for where he is right now.
