It's cool as hell, but I haven't played it in a solid year. I see it being more of a wrestling dork out than a game. You can feasibly create anyone who's ever been within five feet of a wrestling ring, make appropriate ring logos, refs, etc. The gameplay might throw you for a loop if you're unfamiliar with the series. It's timing. It's rock, paper, scissors. It makes for some deep, satisfying matches, but if you're like me it'll lose its luster after a time. There's not a whole awful lot for the single player.

I actually just bought this game today and played it for the very first time. I found it used at Gamestop for about $12 (which is not too far off the new price, but it's hard to find in stores which is why they charge that much probably).
Anyway I think the huge customization capabilities are promising. And already, I like how the AI seems to actually be intelligent (as opposed to SvR).

That, and it doesn't have the Vertebreaker, the Welcome to Chicago, Mother F***er (double underhook backbreaker), or the Colt .45. But que sera, sera. Are you serious? I thought out of all moves, a simple common underhook backbreaker would make the list. Dammit! So I'm guessing Jericho's old "Breakdown" (full nelson facebuster) move isn't in there either?

Actually, it is, as Jeff Jarrett is in the game, since he uses it as "The Stroke."

Actually "The Stroke" is just a simple Russian Legsweep going forward instead of backwards. Jericho's "Breakdown" is almost the same thing, except he has the opponent in a Full Nelson.

Another one that was a somewhat cool finishing move was CM Punk's "Pepsi Plunge." But I use the top rope Tiger Driver as the "Pepsi Plunge," which actually looks cooler.

Just wanted to say that after playing the game for a couple days, I really like it. I hate to call a wrestling game "realistic" because it seems contradictory, but this game is in fact very realistic in terms of what you see on TV. For example, you cannot just spam big moves and button mash your way to victory. You are forced to actually use a strategy. You have to start out using weak attacks, and you can only use the stronger stuff once your opponent is weakened. Same holds true for weapons. In SvR, I typically like to grab a chair early on and just lay people out. In Fire Pro, the same "flow" of the regular moves is there. In other words if your opponent is fresh, it is next to impossible to successfully hit him with the chair. And even if you do, it has to be a very weak chair jab. You can't truly lay in a wicked chair shot until your opponent is severely beaten down. To me, that makes the game a hell of a lot more fun because you have to play a lot more intelligently. I thought the largely Japanese roster would be a turn off, but even that is something I am getting used to. I typically use guys like Hall, Nash, AJ, Sting, etc (See, who says all TNA based games have to suck! ) Even Petey Williams is in complete with Canadian Destroyer. I love picking TNA guys, and challenging random Japanese guys. It's a lot of fun.

You will learn to love a lot of those Japanese guys. Kobashi's a beast, Misawa (god rest his soul) is awesome, Akiyama is a damn good fighter, and Inoki's practically unbeatable. Then there's Vader. Oh lord, that man is a wrecking machine.

I hit my Critical Move on Vader (didn't CRITICAL him, though) and he stood u[ and pinned me.
After I hit my finisher.
On him.
Vader is a beast.

Plus, the finisher usually isn't a guarantee to win. Hell, Triple H could probably hit his "Pedigree of Doom" on Vader in the game, and Vader would just get up, laugh, and destroy him.
