Plus, the finisher usually isn't a guarantee to win. Hell, Triple H could probably hit his "Pedigree of Doom" on Vader in the game, and Vader would just get up, laugh, and destroy him. In other words, Vader would "Warrior" him! Hmmm, I wonder if there's a good Warrior CAW out there. Anyway here's something I found while on YouTube: Cheerleader Melissa vs Daizee Haze. They don't even look like CAW's... they look like they belong in the game's main roster. It's probably the closest the world will ever get to having a Shimmer video game. Now, I'm off to go challenge Vader! I am primarily only familiar with his WWE stint, so I completely forgot that he's a monster in Japan. Some of you guys may remember that his WWF run was pretty underwhelming. Also, one of these days I'd like to make some CAW's for Snitsky, Braden Walker, and Batista. It's the closest we'll get to a Wrestlecrap Forum video game!! EDIT: Oh and has anyone gone into the entrance music selections and listened to "Cool Violent"? It's shockingly similar to Stone Cold's theme. It even sounds more like it than that knock off Shark Boy was using. I know WWE is very protective of their copyrighted material -- I'm guessing they haven't discovered it yet....

I have Midnight Rose created on there. I was thinking about making the whole WCR cast.

The rosters include some U.S. wrestlers, tag team legends (like the Road Warriors and the British Bulldogs) Japanese wrestlers and Legends, legends from Mexico, deathmatch legends, UFC legends and Legendary women's wrestlers from Japan.
You can edit the existing character's looks, create and defend titles, create stables within organizations and change their alignment (Face, Heel, Neutral), have deathmatches, barb wire matches, cage matches, and UFC style matches. Plus the 500 edit spots, which I've already filled, and women's wrestling. You can even have outside interference during your matches.
The game is great when you get the timing down. the only con I have is that since the character's names are changed to avoid copyright problems, you might not know who's who, but you can re-edit their names. I finally did that and updated the rosters.
I have my little stable set up in TNA right now consisting of my personal edit, and the team of Lenny Lane and Dylan Eaton (Bobby Eaton's son).
You can make ANYONE. I've seen edits of G.I. Joe, Marvel, DC, Transformers, Power Rangers and Thundercats characters.

Question: Is there a way to make it so that pinfalls can happen outside of the ring? I am trying to find the right combo of options for a Falls Count Anywhere match. I turned off ringout count, disabled rope breaks, and turned off DQ's. It's pretty much a Hardcore match at that point, except that you have to be in the ring to win.
Also as I have been delving into the Japanese rosters a bit more, I was pleasantly surprised to find Curry Man! He looks pretty damn exact, too. Also I knew there was a guy on the roster named "Leonardo Spanky", but it took me a while to put 2 and 2 together and realize that he is Brian Kendrick. Plus his made-up name is The III Lombard. As in "THE" III Lombard!! Very sneaky indeed.

By the way to the original topic creator, I would now definitely recommend getting this game especially since it's so cheap. I've found a handful of guys I recognized from ROH like Morishima, and it's really fun playing as them. Plus any game where Scott Hall's bio is "Drunk character with a huge body" is instantly worth the price.

One complaint I have about this game is that Bryan Danielson is weak compared to most of the roster.

One complaint I have about this game is that Bryan Danielson is weak compared to most of the roster. I solved that by making an edit to boost his stats up to what they are in Ring of Honor.

Now, when you create a brand new wrestler (meaning not editing a default/existing wrestler), do you raise their stats through a career-like mode? Or can you just adjust to however you like right off the bat?

I picked this game up for ten bucks on the bargain shelf at Gamestop a week after it came out and would HAPPILLY have paid 25-30 for it. I really enjoy the game and can't recommend it enough if you like wrestling games but be forewarned that it's no smackdown vs raw.

There is NO difference between the default characters and the ones you create. If you like the tights that someone is wearing, you can make them for yourself. Everything seen on a default wrestler is available in create mode.

I understand why it is, but ti's still irritating. Thank god there are more CAW's out there with boosted stats.
