Why do people look a newz sites and immediately start to accept and use the rumors as fact in their discussion? This has really annoyed me with the "reports" that Kendrick is the one who's been fined for weed use multiple times. Who is reporting this and why are people so quick to accept is a fact like they are within the WWE? If someone fails wellness and WWE reports on their website that they have suspended a wrestler than it pretty much confirms it. But how do people know something like being fined for weed use?

For the same reason that a NEWZ site could report that Mark Henry is a black man and lots of people would cry bulls***. As for the Kendrick thing, none of the major sites said cut and dry that it was him, they made it clear it was an educated guess. It was the newz sites that said "Yes, it is Kendrick." I know Meltzer made it very clear that nothing was confirmed but he was relatively sure that it was Kendrick.

Made a pretty good case for it when Kendrick was depushed IMMEDIATELY following this story getting out too.

To suspect that the person whose push was reported to have stalled due to multiple violations of WWE's 'no weed' rule was TBK at the same time that TBK's 10 match winning streak was immediately replaced with a 9 (and now 10 with his Raw loss) losing streak when no other such visible 180's in direction as regards pushes occurred is only natural.

But this is the internet. We don't tolerate logic and your precious facts. We demand strong opinions based solely on drawing attention to oneself.
For example....
I hate Marty Jannetty. Not only because he sucks in the ring. But because of that story I heard that he had knocked boots with a handicapped koala at the San Diego Zoo in 1992 after an all night meth bender with Jake Roberts and his twin-cousin Blake "The Crayfish" Roberts.

I made it clear that it wasn't confirmed, although I suppose I didn't really provide a solid answer to your first question just the second. The reason some people believe everything they read on newz sites is no different then people who believe every celebrity rumour. Some people just flat out believe everything they read. There's no real explanation beyond that

By it's very nature, confirmation is irrelevant to something's status as a fact. Even before people confirmed it, it was still fact that the world was flat. Confirmation merely allows us to classify something as a known fact.

theres a few reasons;
firstly, because people like to think they know what goes on backstage and like to flex their 'knowledge' to others
second, because alot of people blindly believe that gossip mongers like alvarez and meltzer are actually journalists
and third, they selectively like to believe whichever reports back up their pre-concieved ideas about a certain wrestler so they can then go online and call said wrestler an asshole, or praise them as a god, depending on who it is

Have you actually taken a logic class? Because if you did, you would understand that there is more to logic than just deductive reasoning, and something that isn't %100 proven as a fact can still be accepted as a probable truth if there is evidence to support coming to that conclusion.

Webster's Dictionary defines logic as a science that deals with the principles and criteria of validity of inference and demonstration. But I don't like that definition. It's boring. Plus I don't know what inference means so now I have to look that up.

Paul London smiles and gets released.
Brian Kendrick pisses hot multiple times and just gets depushed.
Silly WWE NEWZ sites.

I'd guess 'cause same as gossip websites and magazines over actors/muscisians etc it gives people something to talk about, whether they are more than lies or hold some truth, that's a different story altogether. I'd probably respect Jannety a lot more if that did happen. So I'll choose to believe this and tell everyone I know when Jannety gets raised in conversation. It'll be a while until someone has to hear it then.

Because Kendrick was getting a red hot push then it suddenly fizzed out? I dunno but it lends some cred to the "too much of a pot head" stories.

This annoys me as well. Most of the time people seem to doubt a lot of these stories, yet every now and then one like this gets accepted as fact, when it is not.
Kendrick may be the most likely suspect. However just because he got depushed does not really mean much. Plenty of guys in WWE have been inexplicably shunted down the card before.
Carlito was once. Is he a pothead now? Shelton also. So is he toking up?
I mean hell, Orton has admitted to smoking pot backstage before. I dont see people on here calling him a stoner who values weed more than his job. Kendricks depush could be for any number of reasons, many of which may be his own fault...maybe he has a bad attitude, maybe the brass doesn't quite believe he can get over, maybe he isnt getting done what is asked of him in the ring...who knows.
If at some point the rumor is proven, I will freely admit I was wrong. I just dont believe in assuming every rumor is true even if there is some evidence to suggest it, UNTIL it is proven.

But Randy obviously values his push because when he misbehaves, he's depushed but when he behaves he is.

Because some people like gossip and they are gullible enough to believe some of it.

theres a few reasons; firstly, because people like to think they know what goes on backstage and like to flex their 'knowledge' to others You can say the same about politics, music, movies and any other subject where people pursue extensive knowledge beyond what's official. What makes you think they aren't? Now, if Meltzer was the gossip mongerer you claim, WWE would have sued him a hundred times over, and he'd be regarded as a joke in the industry. He's never been sued, and even guys like Foley, Bret Hart, Jericho and J.R have praised him. Again, you can say the same about any other subject: politics, music, movies. That's not exclusive to wrestling fans. And just because people are biased doesn't mean it's 100% BS.
