You think they would let Eric Bischoff in the WWE Hall Of Fame for his work as a executive? You can't deny his impact on the industry.
If they can let Bret Hart in, they should let Bischoff in.

Hell yeah he deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. Like him or not, he truely did revolutionize the business of sports entertainment.

The only way he makes it in is when they have a need for something from him. Now that he holds all the Hogan trademarks, he has potentially become a very valuable man to the WWE.

If I recall correctly, he sold the rights to Bischoff so Linda couldn't get a hold of them, or the money generated.
Or something like that.

Even if he never was exec he would still be at possibility cuz the WWE want put in people who changed or was an impact to wrestling as a whole or a certain major impact. He will be inducted and so will Sting even though was never with WWE. Both will be inducted several years from now but Bischoff will be first.

There is a lot I don't like about him, but he developed into a good performer and you can't discredit him for becoming 'The Golden Boy Who Saved Wrestling' and everything that that slogan means. We know the story of Nitro and the nWo. I personally would rather see Ted Turner inducted, but I don't ever expect it.

Yes, most certainly. Even solely as a WWE performer, he contributed more than Koko B. Ware ever did. Not that I have an issue with Koko getting in either.

If they can let Bret Hart in, they should let Bischoff in. Bret Hart means so much more to the WWF/E than Bischoff. This is a redundant comparison.

He was smart enough to see a concept work in Japan and use the same idea in WCW and secured the right talent to make the angle work in a huge way. The execution of the concept led to wrestling becoming popular again. I am with you that he ended up running it into the ground. He did make WCW competitive with WWE and briefly it surpassed it in ratings and popularity. I don't think highly of Bischoff, but I'll give him credit for bringing WCW to its zenith, helping to make wrestling popular again, and becoming a good performer. He would not be undeserving, but I don't know if WWE feels the need to rush to induct him.

Did something that had already been done. Didn't come up with a second idea, so he ran the first into the ground. People stopped caring, so the company died.
Borrowing a one-trick pony doesn't seem Hall of Fame worthy to me.

Well he is not getting in the HOF for his announcing. Recently watched some early Nitros, he was awful. Amasing he stayed in the business long enough to become an executive.

Borrowing a one-trick pony doesn't seem Hall of Fame worthy to me. I honestly don't see what's wrong about "stealing" or "borrowing" a successful idea from another wrestling company, especially from a foreign wrestling company that 99% of the audience is oblivious to. The whole idea is to have a successful company. What promoter hasn't reused ideas that have worked in the past or for other organizations? There isn't one. I am not a Bischoff fan, but he deserves credit for realizing that an invasion-like storyline could be very successful for WCW.

Yeah, he was not a great announcer/host. He was much better at playing a character than being a straight-guy host/announcer. I have always sort of seen him as a confidence man going back to his days getting into AWA.
