This isn't fair at all. They brought her in with no hype, haven't given her a single interview, and all she does is smile and slap hands. Not only that, but they've got her working with the apathy magnet that is Michelle McCool. This has been WWE's M.O. for several years now - don't give a wrestler anything to work with, then blame them for it. Pretty much my opinion. Give the audience no reason to care about her, and they won't. Her in ring is actually very good, but she doesn't work on the brand where she gets to showcase that. Its hard to get over as a great technician when you have to carry the likes of Mayrse and McCool. I really wish she stayed at TNA...I wonder if she is thinking the same I'm sure every time she looks at her paycheck, she feels a bit better.

I honestly think that the creative team doesn't realise that we need a reason to cheer someone. You can't just stick someone out there and expect them to get over unless they have a lot of big moves. And we all know that being able to do plenty of poppable spots doesn't make a good wrestler. No, but it does make a successful wrestler

This sucks. Give her a mic and let her talk. Or let her do some crazy spots. These can work. Then again, Diva division is pointless.
Or they can bring back James Yun and make her his girlfriend. That can work.

Not happy with her work? Maybe they could give her a feud with Nattie rather than a diva she has to carry. I guess she got spoiled in TNA, actually getting to work with chicks who've trained and been around the block

Exactly, she got spoiled in TNA. Now she is coming back down to earth. Plus she does not have the charisma THE CHAMP has. That is very important in WWE. I mean when Zach Ryder is getting bigger pops than you are, you know its bad.

I like Gail Kim, but I really don't care about the Divas wrestling whatsoever.

i pretty much agree with the consensus here, she should have stayed in TNA, damn the knockout division was A W E S O M E for a while there.

All she had to do was dodge a bullet like in the Matrix. A bullet most likely fired by Rikishi. But, no. Carrie-Anne Moss owned her ass by doing it first. Ever since then, she has yet to live up to the hype that her initial WWE vignettes created for her. Dodge a bullet for me, Gail. Do me proud. Then immediately get naked. Not because I'm some kinda perv or nothin. ^.^ Just. . . you know, because.

No matter what role she is in, I can't in good faith say she should have stayed for a fraction of the money she gets now. It's a business and right now she's making more in 3 months than TNA offered her for a year.

Gail's ringwork since returning hasn't exactly set the world alight. At least when Natalya got her initial push you could actually see her making the effort. Same with Beth Phoenix. Gail looks so low impact in there. She hits a few moves very well but there does not seem to be much effort there.
I personally think they should have put her in FCW for a bit before bringing her onto the main roster.
But I suppose a storyline might help.

No I agree, from an economic stand point at least, but I think she'd have better matches in TNA, so it's a good move for her, and a crappy one for me and other viewers I guess

Its 100% the WWE's fault for not re debuting her properly so its not Gail's fault if she seems to fail to get fans into her matches.

Women's wrestling just doesn't work. That's not be being sexist it's looking at over ten years of what has been the longest snooze-fest in history.
When are people going to realise that when 3,000 people stand up to have a piss or buy a hotdog and the only people interested are little teenage boys too embarrassed to stand up for what's sticking out the front of their pants, that it DOES NOT WORK.
Blame creative all you want but with the odd exception of an occasional talent getting over e.g Trish, I don't think anyone can argue with any conviction that the Diva's/Woman's division in WWE has ever been anything more than a complete waste of time and only slightly better than intermission music.

Are there any audience reactions to diva matches? The occasional wolf whistle I'm sure but I assume most people go and get snacks from the concession stand at that point. She's no big deal. Seriously. She's not a giant botcher or stiff in the ring like most of her counterparts, but she's not a good female wrestler. That being said, if they decide to cut Divas, keep her and let some of the unskilled *cough*Maria*cough* Divas...*cough*Kelly Kelly*cough* see about future endeavors.

If they put Katie on the mic every week, she would be one of the most over acts in the E but they won't. In essence, if someone as great as Katie Lea isn't used right, what chance did Gail Kim and her none mic skills have?

Exactly, she got spoiled in TNA. Now she is coming back down to earth. Plus she does not have the charisma THE CHAMP has. That is very important in WWE. I mean when Zach Ryder is getting bigger pops than you are, you know its bad. If I'm not mistaken, Zack Ryder gets a louder reaction than Maryse, too.

Its 100% the WWE's fault for not re debuting her properly so its not Gail's fault if she seems to fail to get fans into her matches. I wouldn't say its 100% the WWE's fault. I think Gail not having a decent finisher or a really distinct personality hurts her. She could try a different look, a few signature mannerisms or a move that sets her apart from the rest of the pack. But the Diva booking being the way it is, its going to be very hard for her to do that. If they put Katie on the mic every week, she would be one of the most over acts in the E but they won't. In essence, if someone as great as Katie Lea isn't used right, what chance did Gail Kim and her none mic skills have? I think Katie's fantastic and really should be doing more than just following Burchill around. I'm not sure if her sense of humor would translate into great mic skills, but I'd like to see them try. All joking aside, Maryse is actually starting to get over.

I've been hearing that for months but I'm not hearing a reaction that indicates it. Mickie is over. Melina is over. Kelly is over. Beth is sorta over. Maryse? Not over.
