Are there any audience reactions to diva matches? Santina, and that's pretty much it.

The IWC made such a big deal about her return to WWE like she was the savior of the womens division-her pops are piped in, it was very obvious in tonights match-

It's kinda hard to anyone to get a reaction when all they do is put a person in the ring to smile and have no discernible personality whatsoever.

This isn't fair at all. They brought her in with no hype, haven't given her a single interview, and all she does is smile and slap hands. Not only that, but they've got her working with the apathy magnet that is Michelle McCool. This has been WWE's M.O. for several years now - don't give a wrestler anything to work with, then blame them for it.

Other than job to McCool what else was there for her to do? Signing her was a shot at TNA pure and simple in my opinion and now they have got her, while TNA's K.O.'s division is barely getting back on track.
Then again, I have never been a fan of her so, who knows.

I guess since she had done so much in TNA WWE expected her to have the same following- they held her off too long to debut but part of that was due to her working visa issues..i feel bad for her but i called this long ago - she jumped ship from TNA because of money and now she is just lost in the shuffle

I love Gail, don't get me wrong, but her return thus far has been so very very average. This news is not that surprising. The two jobs she did cleanly to Michelle should ring a bell. WTF happened? Even her final TNA match with Awesome Kong in August last year, just owned. Now she's stuck on lucha-lite moves, while nicely executed, is no where near as what she can do. She seems like she doesn't even care that much in matches. And I don't wanna make any excuses like "oh it's diva matches"....um, on Superstars that Divas match was largely comedy, but look who worked the hardest during the time she was in the ring - Kelly Kelly. Either Gail has lost her passion for wrestling, was asked to tone down for Diva standards or is suffering from extreme ring rust.
Funny though, had McCool not had Taker by her side, they'd have dropped her just as quickly.
That said, McCool HAS improved a lot. If all that stuff about Melina has any truth to it I won't be opposed to Michelle winning the title. I am not a huge Melina fan at this point and it might work more effectively if they have McCool running with it.

They act like she was suppose to return to be some conquering hero like Christian was. Nevermind the fact that Christian was, I don't know, OVER during his first stint.
Seriously, give Kim an actual STORYLINE.
Notice how women in the WWE can actually get over by being put in a decent storyline?
Mickie Beth Kelly Melina
They actually got over thanks to their gimmicks/storylines they have been involved in.
Gail just comes out, wrestles a five minute match, leaves. Why should the fans cheer her?

Jobber city you go! Say hi to R-Truth while you're there." Ugh.

To be fair to Gail, UnCool isn't much to work with in terms of charisma, which is the best generator of crowd heat.

I honestly think that the creative team doesn't realise that we need a reason to cheer someone. You can't just stick someone out there and expect them to get over unless they have a lot of big moves.
And we all know that being able to do plenty of poppable spots doesn't make a good wrestler.

1. Squash Matches. 2. Story line. 3. Girlfriend angle.
Until the WWE has tried all three, they shouldn't give up on a Diva.

Ah well I'm sure that 5 times what TNA offered her money will sooth her. Exactly. She really wanted to stay in TNA, but WWE gave her an offer she couldn't refuse. Shame she's getting the kind of push Nattie and Katie got, only as a face. But I'm not surprised at all.
