I blame the terrorists for striking on Smackdown night. The bastards want to change our lives so now we can't even enjoy a simple wrestling angle.

Promoters have always used things that are going on in the world for ideas. You said that not me. I just want you to cite a couple of instances where these rouge undertakers have used their super powers for good or for ill. For an anology to work it has to carry over in all instances yours does not. Futhermore, discrimination against all types of ethnic minorities still occurs in this country. So if Hassan is okay by you then my cracker barel character should be as well as the cotton patch. Sorry to double post, but here are some instances of wrestling angles mirroring real-life international politics: 1950's: Fritz von Erich, on the heels of World War II portrayed a Nazi, goose-stepping to the ring and flashing the salute. 1970's-80's: Evil Russians a-plenty. Ivan Koloff, Nikita Koloff, Krusher Kruschev, Nikolai Volkoff, Boris Zhukov, all criticizing America and talking about the superiority of mother Russia, when there was real fear of nuclear war between the two countries. 1984: The Iron Sheik is an Islamist Iran sympathizer, who carries pictures of the Ayatollah to the ring with him, and again bashes America. 1990-91: Sgt. Slaughter becomes an Iraqi sympathizer, carries the Iraqi flag, and extols the praises of Saddam Hussein and the Iraqi army.

Sorry if this was posted already. I did not see it earlier in the thread...
WWE.com just posted the following:
"Reliable sources have informed WWE.com that Muhammad Hassan will be out indefinitely as a result of the Last Ride delivered to him by the Undertaker at The Great American Bash. At this point, it is doubtful that he will return to action.

As never as enamored by Hassan's character as most people were, but damn, it's just a character, like a role in a movie. Why do groups like UPN have to take it all so literally? This totally sucks. Hassan/Magnus or whatever you want to call him deserved much better than this. Send him back to RAW and keep the now very real discrimination angle alive. The man deserves to be able to make a living without being sabotaged for being too good at his job.
