movies.ign.com/articles/983/983819p1.htmlI guess all the people wanting Triple H to be Thor can sit down now since the guy that played Kirk's dad in the new Star Trek won the role. Too bad, I think he could have done a good job

anyone who thinks HHH would have been a good Thor knows nothing about Thor. besides it says reportedly so it's not 100% confirmed. This is like the 5th person who reportedly got the part.

HHH would be perfect for the role really.
...however he'd never have got the chance, it would have tainted the film.

Iffen he could have disappeared into the role, then maybe. But on Blade Trinity he didn't really show much acting chops.

Greg Valentine had long blonde hair and his nickname was the friggin' hammer, but he would have made a terrible Thor.

Very glad to see that HHH got passed over for this. "I AM THOR-UH! I SAY THEE NAY-UH!!!" is not something I wanted to see from one of my comic favorites on the bigscreen.

The Rock meant something HHH doesn't mean shit. There is more to Thor then blond hair and a hammer Grimwood says HHH cannot act in superhero movies

Rock was still very popular and so was WWE. Right now, Less people watch it and many think that Wrestling is a joke. There is a reason why most WWE films bomb in the box office.

Others might think it's a lot worse.

Even when wrestling was popular, a lot people thought it was joke. But who would be the type of person going to a movie about Thor? 18-40 yr old men I'd imagine. And a larger amount of those people are into wrestling than any other demographic. And for the person who said "Triple H doesn't mean shit" Have you seen the reactions he still gets?

The thing is that in today's society. When a non-wrestling fan sees something that is WWE related. They'll just laugh at it. If HHH was starred as the main role of the movie, I can bet that it would have made a lot less money.

there is a difference in crowd reaction in wrestling and public opinion. The Rock was a somebody, everyone knew and adored him. He was badas and that translated into a movie career. If HHH was any bit of the shit youre claiming him to be Blade Trinity would have had a better run because according to you the general public wants HHH in movies.
And no youre wrong the general demographic of people who are going to see a Thor movie are Thor and comic book fans most of which dont watch pro wrestling.
And finally Johnny Bravao was canceled years ago
