Matt Morgan...abbbbbbbbbbbbout damn time.... Charlie Haas...damn I was hoping for a WGTT angle again Jackie Gayda..eh...she is married and will more than likely get fat and ugly Marty Jannetty...a shame that they had no use for him..or even put him to good use Dawn Marie... eh...useless T and A Mark Jindrak..Good tallent but bad Promos Maven..Finally was cut from Tough Enough...no real use for him Shannon Moore...would be good with a good tag team..but WWE is not in favor of those James Yun (Akio)...eh.... David Heath (Gangrel)....should have seen it coming long ago Billy Kidman... with a decline in the Crusierweight division...I can see why Spike Dudley.. and he makes 3...I like the Dudleys....maybe TNA.... Kevin Fertig... eh...was never that impressed

Thats is really funny. Anyways, from PWTorch.com - Although WWE appreciated Matt Morgan's work ethic and personality, the feeling was that he lacked natural ability or enough promise to remain on the roster. - Charlie Haas' release was due to his perceived lack of charisma, which stood in the way of his becoming a top draw. - Jackie Gayda's release, however, was largely a product of being far too outspoken backstage. "Her mouth got her into trouble," one wrestler said. - As with Charlie Haas, Billy Kidman was seen as very limited in terms of charisma. His durability was also in question, as he'd been very injury prone in recent months. My thoughts, Morgan was released because their bringing Brock back and they can't have two guys running around giving people F5s. I think Jackie being outspoken helped Haas get released, because Haas had more talent, charisma and a better look then the Bashams, Rob Conway, or Sylvian Grenier, and all of them still have jobs. As for Kidman, I heard his wife is a rude backstage. So think that helped get Kidman fired, I don't think Torrie will be around by Royal Rumble.

Jim Cornette? I can't believe they fired him, ok his actions may have been over the top but still...it should be recognised how passionate he is about wrestling and that he is one of the greatest and knowledgeable minds in wrestling history. He should have been managing for the wwe to make "talent" like snitsky and heidenrich much more interesting to watch by cutting an unbelievable promo only the way Jim Cornette can. His old school mentality is something desperately needed in the wwe right now, just his experiences in wrestling would make him an invaluable member of the wwe writing team instead of these soap opera writers who don't have a clue about how to make a good angle work and have to rely on miscarriage, weddings, necrophilia, murder and god knows what else to try and get a wrestler or an angle over and it never works. Jim Cornette just like Steve Austin, Chris Benoit, The Rock, Ric Flair,Roddy Piper, Terry Funk, the fabulous freebirds and numerous other big names, became so big because they were themselves with the volume turned up. Great matches are also important and someone like shelton benjamin has shown that you don't need any type of gimmick to get over, you can get over with talent and talent alone, something which the wwe seems to forget that alot of it's roster are capable of. This has been shown in the past week by the firings of shannon moore, billy kidman and the big shocker for me, charlie haas, among others. I have been a wwe fan all of my life and the past couple of years I have really been getting into the old NWA and even early WCW and recently Ring Of Honour and I am glad that I have because the wwe is really beginning to put me off. There are only so many stupid, pointless, unfunny, offensive storylines one person can put up with and when the wwe fires talented wrestlers but keeps wrestlers like snitsky and Chris Masters and is going to waste alot of money in bringing back Brock Lesnar who has proven to be a primadonna and thinks he is too good for the wwe and when the wwe chooses to hold another raw diva search which is about as titillating as a dog farting on my face instead of keeping the talented womens division they had less than a year ago it makes me wonder why I even bother shelling out so much for the ppvs and the merchandise and spend 8 hours a week watching wwe programming... P.S Jim Cornette gets fired for beating up someone, but provides an invaluable service, while the WWE keeps Bob Holly and Bradshaw?

my bad, someone already made the point about bradshaw and holly, I didn't read it, and that was my first post. But it's still a shame.

Why do they fire all these useful mid carders, then go ahead and bring back someone like Brock Lesnar, who has burned them before, for millions of dollars? I support bringing back Brock, but not during a time when the company is trying to cut costs. On that same note, don't keep Hogan around either. Now for my thoughts on the releases, not that any of you probably care. Haas: They say he has no charisma. They said the same thing about Chris Benoit, and they made him World champion. Cornette: Big loss, but not to the main WWE roster since he wasn't being used there. Dawn Marie: That'll teach Divas to get pregnant! Dudleys: All three at once. Wow. This hurts the tag team division, the cruiserweight division, and any old ECW fan base WWE had going coming off the pay-per-view. It hurts all those areas at once! WAY TO GO, WWE! Matt Morgan: Oh N-N-N-NO! Actually, I don't care. Maven: I actually think this guy could be a strong mid-card heel. I hope TNA picks him up. Gangrel: Like everyone else, I didn't know he was still employed by the E. This is truly reaching WCW levels. Jindrak: See Gangrel. He gets traded just to be canned. WCW at its best. Mordecai: Eh, won't be missed since he wasn't around long. Cool gimmick though. Shannon Moore: Could be a good cruiser, a tag team guy, or used as part of the Matt Hardy angle. Why was he canned but Scotty Too Hotty wasn't (yet)? I don't care about the other firings really.

Let's see, they were fired because of bad charisma and ring skills.
That's right guys, if you want to stay in the WWE, you better become as charismatic and as amazing in the ring as Tyson Tomko and Gene Snitsky.

am i the only one pissed that Morgan got cut? damn everyone is bashing him He's the only one on the list I care about them cutting. I thought he had a world of potential. He had pretty good in-ring skills for a rookie, and way above-average for a big guy. His finishing move before he was doing the F5 was downright awesome. Above all I liked him despite from the start they gave him a stupid gimick, and hindered his ability from the get-go. Damn shame big guys like that who can actually wrestle can't stay around, but Kane/Undertaker/Big Show who havent added a new wrestling move since they came into the WWE aint goin anywhere.

Matt Morgan was a shocker, but I'll miss those damn Dudleys more. And Dawn Marie and Miss Jackie, too. The rest I could care less.

BTW, Gangrel was rehired recently, and was supposedly working off ring rust in OVW. He was fired once before from his 98-00 run.
So he hasn't been around since 1998, only 2004/2005 I'm thinking.
