I've decided that if I do get a tattoo of a Chinese symbol, it actually will be taken from a Chinese take-out menu.
"Shrimp lo mein" means a whole lot more to me than "honor" or "perseverance".

Tatoos. Especially when they're just words in some random language like Chinese or something. Do these people actually think that it's cool and mysterious to draw words in another language on themselves? They also look ugly and you see the same damn cliches all the time. Skulls, dragons, barbed wire, yin and yang, previously mentioned writing from another language, etc. Also, I've noticed that the people who get them are usually chodes. thats ironic coming from someone that has a picture of scantily clad women in a provocative pose and one of them has an entire sleeve of tattoos on her arm... tattoos are a way for one to express themselves and to alot of people they have deep meanings to different periods of their lives...some people in regards to anything take things to the extreme or to an ignorant level and this is no exception i agree...but to label everyone with tattoos as a choad doesnt say much about you either...and by the way I have 5 1. A tribal band connecting to a personal logo I created at 18 around my upper right arm 2. A sun on my left shoulder blade because my mother always called me her "Shining Light" 3. "SLICK" written in Old English in an arch over my belly button because it was my nickname in high school basketball 4. The "KA" Sign from the Dark Tower series over my heart representing good 5. The "Eye of the Crimson King" from the Dark Tower series on the other side of my chest representing evil.... Ok guys with tats calm down. I may be wrong but I think what he is referring to is the people that have like the cliche ones. You know the stereotypical frat boy with the barb wire around his arm just like every other guy in the frat. Like I said that was my take on it I could be wrong.

Plus, most of the "rock" bands today, eg Panic at the Disco, Fallout Boy, and all the other generic clones out there.

Considering it's been done twice in this thread, it must be somewhat popular. And that is quoting someone elses response and posting nothing.
I don't get it.

I've made my feelings about the Jonas Brothers clear in another thread but I'll reiterate. The sadist in me actually likes the JoBros because I haven't heard anything so unabashedly cheesy and horrible on mainstream radio in a long time. As for Twilight, I'll give the books a pass because, well, they're books and reading is FUNdamental. But the movies? And the teenage girls that scream every time something happens during the movies? And vampires...sparkling? What? This informative video from Newgrounds (language warning) can explain better than I can, especially since the main character reminds me so much of me, it might as well be me.

Fred
In regards to Seth Rogan/Judd Apatow, the ads for FUNNY PEOPLE seem to be a departure from the usual fare

Here's something I can't understand the popularity of, Cricket. Seriously, what's going on here and why are people cheering? It's like Blurnsball to me.

Yeah, Fred annoys the s*** outta me. I'll say it again, nornally I can see why someone would find something I don't find funny, funny. I can see a sparkle of "if I was in the right mood or something" but not with Fred. Also WILL&GRACE. I have to elaborate on my reasoning so I don't sound hateful. There is no comedic straight person. And on the line of thinking, Ellen was the straight woman in her sitcoms.

Andy Samberg.
Honestly, nothing he does makes me laugh. Well, let me rephrase that. I used to find him funny. But now I see him as getting repetitive. Yet, everyone I talk to think he's hilarious.
