Twitter/Facebook/MySpace/Bebo/all that crap Lady Gaga Sacha Baron Cohen Heat/OK style celeb rags People who are famous for being famous Reality shows (especially Big Brother) Derivative TV shows (this one really annoys me, because anytime something that's actually new comes along the audience are so used to the same old crap that ratings tank and it gets cancelled) And Dolph Ziggler.

And here I thought I was one of 5 people on the North American continent without a Twitter or Facebook account. (This is where identity theft starts, people.)
Things I didn't see mentioned:
People wearing $25 shirts with one word on them, usually in "Olde English".
iCarly. I think my son's in love with her. And she shows "Fred" youtube videos, also.
Fat people with little dogs.

*Bakugan. During my last Christmas vacation in New Jersey, I nephews were into Bakugan, but I just don't the popularity between it. I get Pokemon, Digimon, and Yu-Gi-Oh, but I see Bakugan as just another clone.
*Naruto and Bleach. I'll admit that I haven't seen an episode, but I view them as trying to be the next DBZ, in terms of popularity.
*Will Ferrell. If I see one Ferrell film, I've seen them all. Of course, there are exceptions to this. And I've seen his work on SNL.

Spaghetti Bolognese... I like spaghetti and bolognese... just not together.
And when I tell people I don't like it, they look at me like I'm the devil incarnate....

I think texting is useful to a certain degree. For example, if you just want to send a quick and silent message without wondering whether or not the person on the other line will pick up, you can just type "Are you going to the movie tonight?", or something.
But people who have entire conversations in text apparently love to waste time a money.

People constantly trash him. How the f*** is he popular? If anything "bashing John Cena" is a popular thing I don't get. Take my previous statement and replace "John Cena" with "Micheal Bay." Other popular things I don't get: _bashing people because they don't have the same lifestyle as you. Emos, Hippies, Gays, ... what did they ever do to deserve so much hate? "Boohoo! I've got to tolerate someone who doesn't view life the same way as I do!" _most Mario games (except Super Mario 3 which totally deserves its praise, IMO); _Pete Doherty; _Stone Cold Steve Austin Hm... I'm sure I have more, but as usual, I can't remember them when I should. Well, more to come.

-Scene kid/Emo bashing. -Aqua Teen Hunger Force. -The Hills. -Actually, most reality TV, though I don't mind American Idol. -Squidbillies. -The claim that hip-hop/rap isn't a viable art form. -The national sports media's Red Sox love affair.
That's about it- I usually don't get bothered by a lot of popular things. I haven't seen Twilight so I can't judge it, I love the Harry Potter movies, I love a good anime, I kinda like Lady Gaga, don't mind the Jonas Brothers much, Will Ferrell was superb at least on SNL, have no problems with High School Musical despite not being a fan, I enjoy Lil Wayne, The Killers kick ass, Seth Rogen's alright, Adam Lambert is a good singer, and Cena is a god among men.

But...Tony Stark IS an asshole!
I hate emos because they're all "Boohoo, I hate my life because my parents love me and are able to afford my designer stretchy girl pants." Plus, while I think emo girls are cute, emo guys look like girls and that confuses and angers me! But I can tolerate the music. On the other hand, as a metal fan, this fusion of emo and extreme music disturbs me, not so much for the musical integrity, but the fact that people follow it just because it's cool. But I can say that for a lot of things.
With hippies, it's all about bathing. And wearing tie-dye moo-moos. If hippies took showers and wore decent clothes, I'd have no problem. I have no problem with gay people, as long as they're not trying to have sex with me. So far, it's been smooth sailing in that department.
Finally, I actually like iCarly. It's kinda funny and, if I can say this without sounding like a pedo, the blonde girl is kinda cute.
Guess I better add something to the list now. Since talking about hippies reminded me, I'll add PETA. I can totally understand wanting to protect animals and save them from abusive and exploitative environments. Hell, I like animals more than most people. But seriously, PETA, you're f***ing crazy. Tone it down a couple...hundred notches and maybe you'll be taken seriously.

Ed Hardy. Seriously, why does anyone look at that crap and think "I have to spend way too much for that"? OMFG This. This a million times. You could replicate those shirts with your average 5th grade art class, easily. I saw an blurb about this on Stuff White People Like, but I thought it was some made up BS. I don't get why people have Ed Hardy shirts more than Affliction shirt. They are just as ugly and tools rock Affliction shirts too. I don't get the appeal and popularity of French manicures. There is nothing classy or elegant about spending $30.00 on a $3.00 looking manicure. If your nail bed aren't pink, take better care of you nails. If, you hate colored nail polish, use clear nail polish.

American Idol. I will never understand how a glorified karaoke contest for otherwise talentless hacks that can hit a lot of notes, and do nothing more, has become one of the most successful shows in television history. Nevermind the fact that there are bands/solo singers out there busting their asses for years, while some jabroni off the street wins a contest and gets a record deal
