I've been awake since 11:30 A.M. on Tuesday. But it's not the longest I've stayed awake. Last year I tried to see how long I could go without sleep and I made it 3 days. So, what's the longest you've gone without sleep?

I stayed awake for two days straight last summer.
Usually when I try to stay up all night, it just makes me less tired.

The longest I've went is 32 hours. After that, my vision began to blur, and the room was starting to spin. I collapsed into bed almost immediately afterwards.

I didn't sleep for just about four and a half days once in highschool just because I wanted to see what would happen. By the end of it I had to keep reassuring myself I was awake.

This. I hate sleeping. There'll be plenty of time to sleep when I'm dead.

42 hours is my record and not one I plan to break anytime soon. Occassionally, I'll do a around 24-32, but that's due to the fact I can't force/trick/get myself to go to sleep before I'm tired.
After the 42 hours of being awake, I slept like 20 hours of interrupted sleep. I must've woke up three or four times for an hour or so just to eat and drink.
Oddly enough in the 32-38 hour window I've done a few times, I almost always sleep like 7-8 hours. Which is sorta weird, because I usually sleep 9-10 hours.
But again, I have sleep issues. I once slept like ten hours, my friend called and woke me up, we went to our friends for like five hours, I came home and immediately laid back down and slept 17 hours straight. The worst part was, I was tired and sore all of that day.

Longest I've been awake was 52 hours on a Knoxville to Tampa road trip. Woke up in Knoxville, rode/drove to Tampa, partied my ass off, and finally crashed out in the car on the way home 52 hours later. Slept 8 hours in the car and 8 more after getting back home and getting my bags in the house. I was, as Gorilla Monsoon might have called it, "on spaghetti legs" by hour 40-45, and by 50, I felt like I was in some sort of state of psychosis.

About 30 hours is my record. On both occasions I stayed up all night to play a new video game I liked (most recently it was Resident Evil 5) until I beat it all the way through on my first play.
By the way, man, are you okay being up so long? Is it some serious insomnia that you're concerned about, or just something that's happening for whatever reason at this particular time?

Somewhere between 30-40 hours, twice. First time was mostly for fun, playing video games and watching anime -- by the end I fell asleep on the floor, beside the bed.
Second time was not so pleasant at all. It was at the time when one of my teeth was rotting, when the pain was at its worst. It set off a chain reaction in my body; toothache caused headache, headache gave me an upset stomach, and all those pains stressed me to the point where my bad back and knees decided to f*** me up good. And taking pain killers didn't even do anything at all.

I think it's 24 hours or less. When I stayed at a friend's house once, I managed to stay up until 5:30am, so that would of been about 22 hours.

44 hours a few years ago. I'll never get that ever again.
Currently I'm sitting at 13 and a half hours awake. I need to go to bed at 2pm Friday in order to shatter my record.
