I would like to think this will lead to something good. Sadly knowing WWE they'll just be squashed and told to work "safe style" because we can't have flipfloppin' foreigners outshining the hosses.

Mmmmmmmmm Smell the positivity in this thread well when you can name the successful Asian wrestlers wwe has had on just one hand it does not exactly invoke optimism, i think wwe could strike a very good deal with HUSTLE, it's wacky, kid friendly, and has great workers to boot.

This just reminds me of this picture of Jeff Hardy from 08. Said "Japanese Fan" is a wrestler (whose name escapes me at the moment.) Good luck, WWE.

By the way, Minoru Suzuki is a bad ass. That is all.
But seriously, I don't know how the Japanese wrestlers would adapt to the American style let alone cross the language barrier.
What they need to do is bring in some of the Gaijin wrestlers, foreigners who've adapted to the Japanese style. Although many of the best Gaijin aren't wrestling anymore, the ones they have now would do great in the American scene.

JR: Ladies and gentleman we heard Razor Ramon has come to WWE! Maybe Edge could feud with them and this is what their story would be like, only in Japanese:

I never understood why WWE never tried a working relationship with some Japanese wrestling company, in order to do a cross promotional PPV once a year. I'm sure guys on both sides of the Pacific could talk with the road agents to reach some sort of compromise on the match plans that could fit both wrestling styles.
Ah, well.

I never understood why WWE never tried a working relationship with some Japanese wrestling company My theory is that the Yakuza plays a big part in that. Vince doesn't want to risk the chance of pissing them off.

I am preparing to mark for the return of Kenzo Suzuki and every other Japanese wrestler they hire over 6'2". That'd be awesome, he's become an awesome RUDO and I'd love to see him back in WWE hell team him with TAJIRI and i'm all set. Also I'm thinking WWE saw Cyber Kong and thought wow we could do something with him. Also I really hope they sign Mistico soon. WWE has had relationships with Japan, they often held those 2 super shows with New Japan and All Japan, helped Tenryu with his WAR promotion, and let Undertaker work Michinoku pro, let alone their early Light Heavyweight and Women's divisions in the nineties. Hell the New Blackjacks were part of the All Asia Tag League back in 1997

Hell the New Blackjacks were part of the All Asia Tag League back in 1997 I know they have, but given that WCW were able to get some decent matches at Starrcade '95 due to their relationship with New Japan, I have to believe that these days WWE could pull off something even bigger and better.
