MeM seems to be getting popular pretty fast, and they're picking up a lot of good talent. But, one thing I noticed before anything else, is virtually all of them are former nWo members. In fact, every tna guy who was in the nWo is in MeM, and all but one of the MeM'ers is a former nWo'ite. Does anyone else see a connection? All the need is a color scheme, and some vaugly pornographic stable entrance music.
Also, it was cool, when Steiner did his Run In Thursday, that he was reluctant to attack Petey. Good continuity TNA! Maybe Petey will join the MeM in short order.

Well, to be fair...
Almost everyone and his or her mother* was in the nWo at one time.

When was Judy in the nWo? I remember her feuding with it, but not a member.

It's more like Kings of Wrestling. Claudio Castagnoli and Chris Hero?? Haha, no, I meant the one Jarrett used to have, what was that one called? Where a bunch of veteran wrestlers tried to keep the belt on Jarrett for absolutely no explainable reason?

Back on point, I dont think theres any connection. It just so happens that all of the veteran top guys in TNA aside from Angle and Cage just happened to pass through the nWo at some point in their careers.
And theyre not trying a 'company takeover' like nWo did, theyre just demanding respect that they dont think theyve gotten, and will beat everyone down until they get it.

Like I said, to be fair, everyone was in the nWo at one point or other. I think I was even briefly an honorary member, along with Donald Trump, the Olsen twins, and Batman.

I really don't see any similarity between MEM and the original nWo. Most of the original nWo guys (aside from Hogan) were the young guys at the time. For instance, Hall, Nash, the Giant (Big Show), Sean Waltman (Syxx), and Buff Bagwell. The whole philosophy behind the original nWo was to fight against tradition. They feuded with traditional wrestlers like Flair, Arn Anderson, Lex Luger, Macho Man, and Roddy Piper. What TNA is doing with MEM is the exact opposite. MEM are the ones who are standing for tradition, and the Young Guns are the ones fighting against it.

Jarrett was in the nWo and isn't in MEM.
And this was brought up on Impact, wasn't it? AJ talked about how "three of you guys were probably responsible for running another company out of business", or something to that effect.

hell, it's a poor man's Millionaire's club. If it's "poor," can it really be considered a Millionaire's Club?
