I believe that was for the October 1988 edition of SNME, and it wasn't permanent.

Not a big deal in the grand scheme on things no. But as a fan of Ventura it's a deal to me. It would be like if Bob Backland came out dressed in tie dye and feathers. It's just not right

To me, Jesse was always experimenting with different looks, just because. I find it very cool that he seems to be this way in real life as well. Besides this look beats that toupee he wore that one time

For some reason, the only image of Jesse I can think of right now is wearing that Mickey Mouse sweatshirt at Royal Rumble 1990.
GAH.

Even on SuperStars Jesse would try different looks, I watch a SuperStars episode right before WM 6 and Jesse had a Hulk Hogan T- Shirt and Hogan Bandanna on which I find funny of all the times he talk bad about Hogan and he is dress like him

Venture left in July of that year so WM 6 was the last major show he did

Why is he dressed like this? That's his future politician look.

Why is he dressed like this? That's his future politician look. It reminds me of an old time newspaper reporter. He just needs a pencil behind his ear

It's just not right From what I heard, Bob Backlund was rumored to be given an Adrian Street type gimmick after he lost the WWF championship to the Iron Sheik. Maybe thats why he left.

Jesse would switch his pick on who would win between the Warrior and Hogan every week.

They wanted to make Bob a punk type character with dyed hair and a mohawk.
