www.pwinsider.com/ViewArticle.php?id=37829&p=1Female Japanese star Ayako Hamada announced at a Wednesday morning press conference that the 4/19 Ito Dojo show will be her final match in Japan and she has signed with TNA. Hamade is the daughter of the legendary Gran Hamada from Michinoku Pro Wrestling in Japan. American fans may remember him from his appearances with Michinoku for the original ECW. Any of the fellow crappers familiar with her? Apparently she's wrestled Awesome Kong before.

Really?
This is actually quite excellent because she is one of the best female wrestlers in Japan. This could merely be more just marking out for her though.

It's a great signing for TNA, but I'm worried about how they'll use her.

If the stuff between Awesome Kong/Saed vs. Mi Pi Sexy continues, having Hamada come in as an old ally of Kong's to even the score might not be the worst way to introduce her.

I now have renewed faith in the restored vitality of their Knockouts Division. They seem to have realized "Oh, hey, there IS something to be said about our KOs having had the highest rated segments for us.."

Well this could be interesting.
Any bets on what they change her name to? I'm guessing something along the lines of Fook Mi or Fook Yu from that Austin Powers movie.
Unless of course TNA decides to book her in a serious role, in which case I'd commend them.

I love Ayako Hamada. If I'm not mistaken, she has wrestled in AAA. She is a really good wrestler. I'm glad she'll gain more exposure in TNA, but I'm worried about how they'll use her.

This could be good. This could be good.
But is it bad that when I Googled her I was hoping for... hotter?
O, and the guy who mentioned Kiyoshi. When No Limit. Kiyoshi, and no Ayako, seems they're building a Japan stable, does anyone think she's going to be involved with Kiyoshi/No Limit?

I hope the TNA crowd won't start a "USA" chant during her matches.

YESSSSSS!!! I've loved her ever since I saw her in early 2004.
Very talented girl. They grommed her as one of the new generation of stars in Joshi at one point. She was one of the most talented rookies when she debuted around 98 or 99.
TNA should not sign any more women for the time being, but Ayako Hamada is a really good acquisition. About time the US wrestling scene gets some real JOSHI talent!

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
I love Ayako Hamada (she's been my favorite female wrestler since I first saw her in 2005) and this is excellent news, hopefully TNA won't screw the whole thing up somehow.

WIN And how! If this is what TNA is bringing to the table [and they up their Impact match times] I may have to start watching regularly again. I wish the rumors of the all-KO show would have been true.

I'd guess she'll join Daivari's stable of Japanese that he is in charge of for whatever reason.

I just have a feeling that they'll stick her in a kimono and make her the valet of Kiyoshi and No Limit.
