Almost half way through and not a single one of my picks is listed yet. I have a pretty good felling my number 1 pick will be up next though.

Non of mine have showed up yet.
Andre IMO is listed a little high though. He should be in the top 10 for what he done and brought to wrestling in the 70;'s alone. Never mind Wrestlemania 3 the height of the 80;s book against Hogan.

Honestly seeing as how modern wrestling is viewed (especially by the IWC) 3/5 should be fairly obvious. The other two i just used for people i mark for.

Out of the 51 in the list, I'd say 90% of ALL votes went to the top 8 or 9.

I gave the 4 votes to Chris Hero. I have only (my top) left. Do you think it's a little odd seeing these indy stars up there with the Andres, Rikidozans and Theszs? A little bit, but I really wouldn't expect many here knowing much about them beyond the fact that they were important to wrestling history. I have a similar problem since Im working on a list of great promo cutters and is having a hard time balancing favorites I grew up with and Those from the 50's onward. 1.He might not win any polls here, but he is number 1 on my list 2.Came back from a career ending injury to have more MOTY candidates than anyone else in current WWE 3.One of the greatest Japanese wrestlers of all time 4.Ricky Steamboat 5. Was thinking of Hogan, but I figured he would win anyway So I went with his long time freind/Rival

the only thing I find weird about this list is how the hell sabin got 4 points. I don't hate chris sabin but that just struck out to me as really weird.

I'm surprised by quite a few of these, but then again we're only at the bottom 20, so there's a lot of leeway.

On 5 points ...Joint 27. John CenaCena represents everything about the current product I dislike embodied in one man. However, here is not the space to elaborate on that: he's a 4-time time WWE Champ and a 2-time Worl ... oh sorry, I just can't do it. The people who gave him these points can tell you why. Sandmanbrawl Saturday said: "John Cena. He's in the Shawn Michaels mold without the overselling and high-flying. He's a better interview, can connect with the people through all aspects of the sport, and he's a better wrestler than a lot of people give him credit. People really react when he gets his ass kicked, pro or con. That's a guy who really has the audience in the palm of his hand." Joint 27. Kevin NashClearly, Nash was never a great worker but he brought to wrestling something it hadn't seen before: a big man who was more than just "big". As Diesel in the WWF, he had attitude, he had character and he could talk. He held the strap in the WWF's annus horribilis, 1995 before jumping to WCW and making history as one third of the NWO. After the collapse of WCW, he had a run for a year including reformation of the NWO, which was generally seen as a dismal failure, before jumping to TNA where he remains. 26. Bryan DanielsonOne of the best wrestler's in the world today Danielson has an absolutely spectacular moveset. It's his timing and transitions that make him second to almost no one. Phenomenal talent. [/Youngie] 25. Dynamite KidFor pure workrate and in-ring ability, they don't come much rarer than Dynamite. His matches with Tiger Mask in 1983 in NJPW are still talked about to this day as a pioneering influence in the development of how matches are worked. He also formed one of the great teams of the 80s with Davey Boy Smith. Drug abuse and other personal demons would end up tarnishing his career in the 90s, and he was confined to a wheelchair after a seizure in 1996. Even so, Tom "Dynamite Kid" Billington was a once-in-a-generation kind of talent and the IWC will always regard his work highly. 24. El SantoEl Santo is more than a luchador with a parallel acting career. He is a cultural icon and a social phenomenon whose impact in the Mexican society is enormous. It's safe to say that Santo is the most popular wrestler ever in his home country and of the most famous wrestlers world-wide. His wrestling career has spanned nearly five decades. [/Youngie] 23. Dean MaleknoSomething of an IWC poster-boy, as the son of the great Boris Malenko, Dean dubbed himself "the man of a 1000 holds" and had great matches on the WCW undercard and in the light-heavyweight division for five years when the main event was dominated by Hogan and the NWO. Not long after his jump to the WWF as one of the Radicalz, he retired to become a road agent (although why so early I am not sure). It's also worth mentioning that his matches with Eddie Guerrero in ECW from 1995 are legendary. What Malenko lacked in charisma, he more than made up for in technical proficiency. One of the great mat-wrestlers of the past 20 years. 22. Curt "Mr. Perfect" HennigFor my money, the quintessential IC champ, Hennig is perhaps one of the greatest sellers of all time -- it's almost like he had springs in his legs. He was a total package: technically proficient, light on his feet (without being a "high flyer), a great talker, and bags of charisma. Injuries were to take their toll on him, however, and , despite some great matches, he never quite scaled the heights of 1990-1 again after his comeback in 1993. 21. Genichiro TenryuOriginally a sumo wrestler Tenryu made the adapption to pro wrestling easily. Known for his hard-hitting tough style and for taking no prisoners Tenryu has had a great career lasting over 25 years. 1989 was his best year having a series of amazing matches against Jumbo Tsuruta for the AJPW Triple Crown title. Tenryu changed the landscape in Japanese pro wrestling with his style and determination to dominate the sport and will go down in history as one of the all time greats. [/Youngie]

John Cena is a GREAT worker and talker. Tremendous promo work ever since his debut, and I honestly cannot think of one bad match he has had since 2005. Very few guys can lay claim to 4 years of consistently good and entertaining matches, whether with a technician like Jericho or Angle, or a stiff giant such as Khali. He has tremendous presence and the very best standard bearer for WWE for now and into the future. If he continues on the run he has, then I would hazard a guess and say he will be further into my top 5 soon.
1. Obvious 2. WOOOO 3. The Icon 4. He got screwed 5. John Cena

Aaaaaand there goes my #1 with a bullet.
1. El Santo 2. Rikidozan 3. Karl Gotch 4. 5. Antonio Inoki
Only person with 5 points that I have an objection with is Danielson. Sure, he's a great wrestler and all, but his titles don't exactly precede him yet. In a few years, he may wind up on my Top 5 list.

Not one of mine showed up yet. The list is looking good so far though. Few questionable wrestlers on there but good for the most part.

I can't believe Cena got that many votes from the IWC....I mean HHH got zero, goldberg got zero...both OBVIOUSLY have their flaws, but i figured the IWC hated Cena. Ah well....
None of my five have been touched yet, but i (and as it seems the majority of voters) aren't as educated on the foreign wrestlers as some of you guys, and that obviously has a large effect.
