I can't believe Cena got that many votes from the IWC....I mean HHH got zero, goldberg got zero...both OBVIOUSLY have their flaws, but i figured the IWC hated Cena. Ah well.... I would say that HHH should be on the list and John Cena should not or should at least be higher up. However everyone's entitled to their opinion and as long as he is kept far away from the top 10 that is fine.

yeah but cena's had some really awesome matches and from the sounds of it a couple of people put him low on their lists and it just so happened that the people who put him on their list managed to get him five points.

On 6 points ...20. Toshiaki KawadaToshiaki Kawada is a Japanese legend. He was trained by Genichiro Tenryu. His matches against Misawa, Akiyama, & Kobashi in the '90s are regarded as some of the greatest pro wrestling matches ever. He is also known for his extremely stiff wrestling style and for being the master in in-ring psychology. One of the all time best wrestlers and has a fantasticly brutal moveset. [/Youngie]

Aaaaaand there goes my #1 with a bullet. 1. El Santo 2. Rikidozan 3. Karl Gotch 4. 5. Antonio Inoki Only person with 5 points that I have an objection with is Danielson. Sure, he's a great wrestler and all, but his titles don't exactly precede him yet. In a few years, he may wind up on my Top 5 list. I picked Danielson. Fun fact..I was the only person to pick each of my five picks.

And on 7 points ...19. Rowdy Roddy PiperOne of the all-time great heels and a natural on the mic, Piper was one of the break out stars of the "rock 'n' wrestling era", not least due to the fact he was featured prominently in the Hogan cartoon. More about his talk than his workrate, Piper's charisma was such that he was given his own segment, Piper's Pit, which has been oft-copied (by among others Brutus Beefcake and Carlito) but never bettered. Piper was the sort of guy who never really needed a title to get over. For me, he was never quite the same after he came back from his stint in Hollywood in 1989, and the less said about his WCW run the better. chunkylover53 said: "'Rowdy' Roddy Piper - One of the most ruthless heels of all time and his in ring ability is the stuff legends are made of" 18. Scott HallAfter spending years as a lower-midcard with a dodge mustache in the territories, Hall finally stuck the big time in WWF when Vince was taken with his Scarface character, Razor Ramon. He was a solid upper-midcarder and IC champ before jumping to WCW with Kevin Nash for the legendary NWO angle. Since 2000, Hall has struggled with alcohol addiction which has limited his mainstream wrestling appearances to a few cameos. Hall had good charisma and was ok in the ring: one of the few members of the NWO who knew that jobbing wouldn't damage his character or momentum. 17. EdgeOne of the stars to emerge from the attitude era, Edge really has it all: charisma, mic skills, good in-ring work. Perhaps a sign of the times that he is already a 9-time World Heavyweight Champ (5 World, 4 WWE), but I guess it shows that talent does get you somewhere sometimes. Like Christian, he excels in the cocky and cowardly heel role.

On 8 points ...16. Mitsuharu MisawaMisawa is considered one of the best wrestlers in pro wrestling history. Misawa was a five-time AJPW Triple Crown Heavyweight Champion, three-time GHC Heavyweight Champion and was named Wrestler of the Year by Wrestling Observer Newsletter on three occasions. At the height of his powers in the mid to late 90's Misawa did some of the finest work ever done inside a ring. Mitsuharu Misawa is a legend in the truest sense of the word. [/Youngie] 15. Nick BockwinkelBockwinkel was the heel champ who defeated Verne Gagne and defined the AWA for almost 20 years. He was a great talker, helped by the fact that he was unusually intelligent for a wrestler and boasted a great vocabulary. A great old school scientific wrestler, he's finally getting some recognition thanks to the AWA DVD sets the WWE have been putting out in recent years. Triple Kelly said: "He's a great talent in many areas." Sandmanbrawl Saturday said: "Nick Bockwinkel. Maybe I'm a little biased as the AWA was regularly on TV in my area (Chicagoland), but Nick was well-spoken and elegant with his sport coats, gold watches, shades, and $10 words. Knew the skills it took to beat anybody (from Verne Gagne to Crusher Blackwell), could take anybody to a 60-to-90 minute draw and make the people believe he could go longer if he had to. (Or that the other guy had a real chance of winning his title.)"

Mine to
Ahtough I didnlt vote for him I think Piper should have made the top 10. He helped establish Hulkamania and Wrestlemania and was a big part of 80's WWF wrestling sceen. He also helped make Bret Hart a legit IC Champion at Wrestlemania 8 by doing the job to Hitman. Scott Hall is around the correct place though

Pretty much the same for Kobashi, who I think is slightly a bit better than Misawa overall because his prime went well into the 00s while Misawa was winding down then. Kobashi is still having amazing matches, mostly tag matches but he can still go. 1. 2. Kenta Kobashi 3. Mitsuharu Misawa 4. 5.

japanese wrestlers in general didn't seem to land all that high. I was the only guy who voted for tenryu for crying out loud!
