This will probably be the single greatest action movie ever made. Its about a group of mercenaries that go to south america to overthrow a dictator, blah blah, plot isnt really important. Anyhow its written and directed by Mr Sly Stallone and stars:
Sly Stallone (of course), Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph f***ing Lundgren, Mickey Rourke, Eric Roberts, 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin, Randy Couture, Terry Crews, David Zayas and Charisma Carpenter.
Recently announced for a small role was Bruce Willis who will play Mr Church, a guy who hires the expendables and Arnold Schwarzenegger will cameo as a retired General. Awesomely, Sly, Arnie and Bruce will all share a scene.
For action fans this is surely one of the greatest casts EVER assembled!
So the question is, will you see this movie???

Dude, go back to that post and read it again.
Someone better give me a damn good reason NOT to see this film because I can't find one there.
All we need is Jackie Chan and a small cameo from Mr T and Chuck Norris and it'd be the greatest action film ever made.

Seagal also turned it down because he hates the producer (Avi Lerner)

No. The only guys I like in that cast are Bruce who's only doing a small role and Terry Crews. The only Stallone movies I like are the first 2 Rockys,Demolition Man,and Stop Or My Mom Will Shoot(seriously). I haven't liked anything I've seen with Statham(even though The Bank Job or whatever it is called looks okay). Can't stand Dolph Lundgren. Not a Jet Li fan. As for Rourke,I liked Domino and The Wrestler and that's all I can think of. I honestly couldn't tell you anything Eric Roberts has done. I know who he is but I can't think of anything he's done. I didn't mind Austin in the ring but I wasn't a huge fan and I thought The Condemned was pretty bad. Don't care about Couture. Never even heard of the Zayas guy. As for Arnold,I liked True Lies and Kindergarten Cop. So there's the reason I won't see this movie. Bruce Willis' small role and Terry Crews doesn't make me want to pay 7 or 8 bucks to see it. I may catch it on one of the movie channels when it comes on but I'm not going out of my way to watch it.

As repetitive as the whole "south-american dictatorship" thing is (why can't you fight a canadian dictatorship or something?), it still sounds awesome. I'll check it out.

Stallone's Expendables? Ohhh, every Rocky movie after the 3rd one, right?
Kidding aside, I pretty much have to see this. It'll either be a good popcorn film, or a magnificent failure. Either one, I'm on board.

To me its the most anticipated film of the next year. Stallone has always been one of my favorite action stars, and his latest additions to the Rocky and Rambo franchises have been fantastic. I hope Expendables doesn't disappoint.

I can't wait to see this movie. I love me a good popcorn action flick, and this sounds right up my alley.
