Gail Kim was a respected fixture in the TNA Knockouts Division. She was their first champion, and had she stayed with the company she undoubtedly would have been heralded as the one who ushered in TNA's brand of women's wrestling. That being said, now that she's in the WWE she finds herself as "just another Diva". She's competing in matches while wearing a bikini, she's dancing to ZZ Top music, and she's playing second fiddle to Kelly Kelly. Did Gail Kim make the wrong decision? Should she have stayed with TNA, or were the "greener pastures" of the WWE the right move?

Wrestling is about making money, anyone who values respect above money in an industry where wins and losses aren't real has a mental problem.
She's making significantly more money so I'm gonna go with no.

Nope. I'm sure she'll start getting pushed more down the road. She's already better off on RAW than she was on SD.

It's tough to say she hasn't been pushed as much as I had hoped when she re-signed with WWE but she had kind of done all she could in TNA at the time she had wrestled most of the girls several times and she is probably making more money in WWE. Of course now TNA has brought in some knockouts I would love to see Gail wrestle if she had stayed she'd have had fresh matches with Victoria, Cheerleader Melissa and Sarita which I would love to see but I also really want to see her face Beth Phoenix.

1. She's making the MON-NAY 2. WWE, especially RAW, gets about 3-4 million more viewers than TNA on a weekly basis. 3. ...
No real point to continue.

I believe Gail left TNA on fairly good terms so if he she is unhappy I'm sure she'll be able to go back to the company fairly easily once her contract ends.

She's making more money in WWE, you can bet your life on it. She's in the same boat as Christian - spending a bit of time on WWE's naughty step for jumping to TNA, but there's going to be a push coming down the road

I'm sure Kim knew exactly what her stay in the WWE would be like. I can't imagine she thought she'd be going back to iron man matches and best 2/3 falls. She'd be trading the more respectable Knockouts division of TNA for the T&A of the WWE.

Watching her last night made me wish they would give her SOME kind of push... they could do a whole lot with her character and wrestling style. I don't know what it is about it but I love that corner spear move that she does where she ends up on the apron.

I'd see him having a Jericho type return - a quick hotshot to the main event, a drop back down to IC sort of level for a cooling off period, then being allowed to let his work speak for itself and to bring himself back up to the top again. Sting... would also come in at the top, but I could see him staying there just long enough to work with all the top guys before he retired. His situation is different as his days in the ring are quite clearly numbered in comparison to Angle's.

At first I want to say yes because in TNA she was on top.
But now, she's making significantly more money but playing second fiddle which is likley a temporary punishment such as the same Christian is getting.
It'll turn around for her soon enough.

Well, she gets paid more. As a fan, i thought Kim and Christian were better used in TNA, but i don't think it's a mistake on their part.

What he said! Artistically she was better in TNA ,got a huge push and run but ut was even talked about the sole reason she went back to WWE was they offered her stupid amounts of money that was too good to pass up. So from a financial stand point who could blame her? It just sucks to see her having to demote herself and her talent with those bimbos! I met her at a fan fest in '07 when she was still Knock out champion and we talked about how much the WWE divas suck. She said when she was in WWE previously, backstage her and the girls that could actually wrestle, were kept apart from the ones that couldn't but for some unexplained reason they had to work together in the ring!

I was thinking this last night....
She had a different level of respect as a competitor, not just eye candy. In TNA, she was seen as the top face woman wrestler and kind of the reason for the division. Seen as someone who was a legit competitor. Now, she is wearing skimpy costumes and dancing around.
I would have thought she would have been brought in as a serious challenger to Beth. But now Beth is m.i.a. At least Gail is on tv. I think maybe in a few months she can be in the title matches.

I would have to see a comparison of her salary in TNA and her salary in WWE right now to know whether or not it was a mistake

I personally think she's doing more good for the business working for the WWE helping the less-experienced talent, as clearly proven by Alicia Fox's evolution. Seeing this kind of improvement makes me hope that Roxxi's desire to work in the 'E to help the younger talent comes into fruition.
