Booker T's scissors kick. The way the opponent stays bent over in one spot for the longest time seems contrived.

The Slingshot - has anybody tried doing this, can it work without the other person jumping or do you just end up in a heap? I don't mind it in comedy matches, but not ones where believability is key.

The Canadian Destroyer. The opponent has to cooperate with the move by flipping along with it.
Also, I hate when somebody does a plancha and it's obvious the opponent is preparing to catch him. I know he has to catch him to prevent injury, but it looks pretty fake.

Styles Clash does look contrived to me, but I also think that because I just hate the move. It looks to be the LEAST painful maneuver this side of the Worm.

I always hated the stomp before the Sweet Chin Music, because he is basically saying, " I'm about to kick you. Watch out."

John Cena's entire moveset.
Shelton's spin kick.
Big Show's frying pan slap.
JBL's Clothesline from Hell. Yes, it's hard but it's still a clothesline.

but Kennedy's finisher (is it officially called the Green Bay Plunge?) Mister Kennedy revealed it to be called "The Lambeau Leap" ala The Green Bay Packers in a hilarious 'Locker Room Lowdown' interview on wwe.com

I don't see what's so contrived about it. The way he sets it up is with a powerbomb position, raises him up and gets him in Clash position. The weird part is how he has to sort of drop em and hold them by their thighs and position his legs behind their arms. they always just let him. No one bothers to counter by keeping their arms in. actually sometimes they do..in that case AJ usually just converts it into a powerbomb or a submission hold using the legs or something (thats what makes the clash so versitile )

Hogan's big boot. After 20+ years I find it hard to believe that foes are STILL running into his elevated foot.

Bronco Buster. Aside from the fact that it's a stupid move, people normally don't fall on their bum in the corner like that in any other match.

Most leg submission moves don't look very painful. Me and my cousins used put each other in the Figure Four, the Sharpshooter and the Boston Crab when we were kids and they didn't hurt at all.

so we're in agreement that any and every move that has ever been done inside the ring is contrived?

so we're in agreement that any and every move that has ever been done inside the ring is contrived? It has gone a bit off track. Some of these moves are fine. And as someone who's had figure four and boston crab applied on me, yes they hurt when done right.

figure four does indeed hurt, i'm sure that was the move of choice for ALL of our childhoods. the boston crab just looks painless. peoples legs are SUPPOSED to bend that way.

The Boston Crab really's supposed to pull and hyperextend the lower back, much like the Walls of Jericho. As for most painful ones I've endured, I'd say either the Figure4, or an STF/Reverse STF.

Submissions hurt like hell. A bostoncrab just bends your back in 2, a figure four destroys your leg thats in an angle.
But what about the irish whip........
