I know WHO you were talking about, but WHAT you said applies just as much for Dre. Again i disagree. Whatever influence he may have had i don't think it reaches anywhere near the level of influence Nirvana & the whole grunge era had in general. Once again, I agree with you on that statement, but Nirvana has nothing to do with this. 1) Just because Nirvana had a bigger influence doe not mean Dre had none. I say for the third time now, he was ONE OF the biggets influences, not THE. 2) Dre wasn't facing Nirvana in this round, so once again Nirvana has nothing to do with this conversation.

I must've missed the rule where it said you had to vote for the "Most Influential" album, and not what you thought was the best. I have a habit of doing that.

Nirvana not being in the finals but Dr. Dre is? I see something wrong with that logic. People have differing opinions. I must've missed the rule where it said you had to vote for the "Most Influential" album, and not what you thought was the best. I have a habit of doing that. If you want to pick the best album of the 90's you should pick the album that best defined that era. The whole point of this tournament was to vote for which album you liked more. If the tournament was to vote for the most influential, then there wouldn't be a need for a tournament in the first place.

If you want to pick the best album of the 90's you should pick the album that best defined that era. Says who? I see a match up between two albums. I pick which one I enjoyed more. I'm pretty sure the vast majority of people who voted in this thread did the same thing.

I must've missed the rule where it said you had to vote for the "Most Influential" album, and not what you thought was the best. I have a habit of doing that. There wasn't one. Its perfectly open to each person's interpretation. This is supposed to be fun. Don't take it too seriously. I'm sure I could do this tournament in a few months and get different results, so its hardly a scientific process.

I'm not trying to make anyone get upset. Just talking about the merits of various albums. If it's bothering you I'm more than happy to drop it.

You can tell others what you voted for if you wish, but only your vote in the poll will count. If you’ve been lurking here and haven’t voted yet, now is your chance. I’ll bump this thread if it falls off the front page. Remember, that you have 24hrs to make your decision.

Dr. Dre
I probably like Foo Fighters better overall, but as for one album I just feel Dre's is stronger here.

I never in my wildest dreams would have pegged this coming down to these 2 albums... as a teen throughout the 90s I owned both of these CD's but wouldn't call them the best... Differeing opinions, i guess... when I think of albusm fromt eh 90s that were great I think of Nevermind, Jagged Little Pill, Bringing Down the Horse, Mellen Collie and the Infinant Sadness, Tragic Kingdom, All Eyez on Me, Ten, Sixteen Stone... those are the albums that defined the 90s and they were all beaten... that being said, I loved both o these...
I choose The Foo Fighters though, simply put, it was a better album from top to bottom.

I agree that Foo Fighters and Dr Dre don't deserve to be in the final but it's the luck of the draw isn't it. I personally think Morning Glory should have won but saying that
I vote for Foo Fighters

Foo Fighters without a doubt!
It's a great album. i rember it fondly as it came out around the time i was entering High School.
Personally if i could have picked an album to win the whole thing it would have come down to two. 1.Nevermind-Nirvana 2.Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness-The Smashing Pumpkins
