And who wants more of that? Really, Rey JBL Eddie and Batista are all in much better programs than they were last go around, so drinks for everyone.

How come Bobby Lashley and Simon Dean made the card, but Mr. Kennedy
...Kennedy is nowhere to be found?
Don't tell me, his ring annoucing skills are going to be put to use as JBL's personal announcer/run-in specialist?

I heard Kennedy's supposed to fight Hardcore Holly. The press conference for this is Monday...should be fun.

NM is just getting no hype what so ever. I don't think WWE is that bothered how the PPV goes as long as RHC is a success.

No, this one we have to pay for
I'm not getting it, looks like another lackluster PPV IMO

It's not that awful, there just aren't very many fresh matches in there. And of those that are, there's no real reason to care about half of them due to the lack of build or obvious one-sidedness.
So you've only really got Bradders-ReyRey and Dave-Eddie to give much of a toss about. That said, I think both of those matches will be fun. Hmm. Won't order it, might get hold of it somehow if I hear good reports later.

Yes, but never TOGETHER!
Honestly, this line-up doesn't look half as bad to me as it seems to others; of course any card with another Orton/Undertaker match and 6-man mixed tag team match with pudgy Animal is going to be lackluster, but the two title matches are actually interesting at least. Plus, the two new "greenhorns" get their PPV debut. If I weren't a poor college student, I would be all over this.

This card is farrrr and away better than many of the WWE PPV's this year. The US Title, Eddie-Batista, Nunzio-Guerrera, Ortons-Taker (it'll be decent although I could care less about this feud as it's been dragged out for too long now).

Other than the Fatal Fourway, I have no interest. I honestly think the buyrate for this show is just going to be pathetic. I'm talking David Hasselhof numbers here!

I attribute that to basically WWE always underselling them and a portion of SD's audience not having cable.

Wow...I actually kinda wish I were watching this PPV.
So here we go, here it is, the amazering dealie that is, of course, the Invader Dave Patented Predictions.
Nunzio (Li'l Guido) vs. Juventud Guerrera: First match predicted, most likely, first match on the card. Shortest one, too, running at five minutes. A Winner is: Juvi, ending quite possibly the most uneventful Cruiserweight title reign since Spike held the belt.
Simon Dean vs. Bobby Lashley: Bobby-o has yet to win me over. Dean is always cool to watch, so I suppose this'll be an alright match. A Winner is: Bobby Lashley, because God forbid Nova looks good ever.
Chris vs. Chris vs. Booker vs. Other Guy: Probably the technical clinic of the night, kinda. Are we really going to cut off Benoit's reign after a month? I wouldn't doubt it! However... A Winner is: Benoit, keeping the title, cuz he's coo' like dat.
Ken Kennedy vs. Bob Holly: The Man What Came from Wisconsin is going to f*** baldcore up. A Winner is: Ken Kennedy..................................................KENNEDY! IT'S STILL FUN!
LOD and Christy Hemme vs. MNM and Melina: Who cares? A Winner is: Who cares?
Rey Mysterio vs. JBL If Rey weren't kinda gettin' old, and hollowed out, and his wings hadn't been clipped, this would have been a hellacious match to see, what with him flyin' all over, tiring JBL out, or something. Oh well. I don't expect a spectacular show, but I at least expect above average. A Winner is: Rey Mysterio, further burying JBL to my delight and glee.
Undertaker vs. The Ortons: I guess 'Taker needs another vacation. A Winner is: The Ortons, and we won't see 'Taker for another six months, or until Wrestlemania, where he puts his streak on the line against Edge's streak.
Batista vs. Eddie Guerrero: I'll say this - Batista has had a very good run with the belt. He's handled himself very well as a champion, and I'm glad he can go full tilt when the time calls for it. But...there may be an eeking thought in the back of my mind, that Eddie Guerrero may come out on top. And because I always listen to the voices in my head... A Winner is: Eddie Guerrero. We'll just have to see.

Some interesting predicition. Just because I'm slowly becoming an SD! addict (as are a number of others,) I'll offer some predicitions myself.
Nunzio (Li'l Guido) vs. Juventud Guerrera: The Velocity offering of the night, this has actually been a slowly boiling over feud behind it where the FBI just seem to be cursed by the Mexicools. Then Juve wins the battle royale, setting up an exciting, but quick, match to open the show. On a sidenote, are the Mexicools faces now or tweeners? And is Paul London still pregnant doging? Winner: Juvi, probably setting up a storyline with the other two Mexicools shooting for the tag titles, only for Animal to eat them all.
Simon Dean vs. Bobby Lashley: Silent Bobby against the official punching bag of SmackDown. A good exhibition of Lashley's abilities to be sure, but does this really need to be on a PPV? Winner: Black Lesnar
Benoit vs. Christian vs. Booker vs. OJ: REALLY looking forward to this one. Even OJ has looked improved his last couple of outings, and the way this fued was built makes each challenger a likely competitor, as opposed to meaningless Benoit/OJ match #234. Should be awesome, if paced correctly Winner: I know this is a cheat, but I'm making a dual predicition. I think that Benoit is going to win, just because he's really over as US Champion right now and really has shown that the belt can mean something. HOWEVER, if he doesn't win I think it's going to go to Christian. The fact that Droz and Tazz both called him and the fact he was in the big six-man tag match are both telling signs. So yeah, it's a cheat, but I call dibs on both.
Ken Kennedy vs. Sparkplug Holly: Kennedy's first PPV, and he has to wrestle with Sparkplug? That's BS if you ask me, but can't say that the E hasn't been pushing him to the moon, so whatever. Winner: Kennedy. If Sparky wins, we got problems.
LOD and Christy Hemme vs. MNM and Melina: *snores* Though, I gotta admit that I'm digging Hemme's new attire. Winner: LOD III take it, what with the massive power that is Animal. Loser: All of us
Rey Mysterio vs. JBL One of the weirdest match ups in a while for a PPV, the very impressive sight of these two men next to each other makes me giggle every time. A definate clash of styles, but should be pretty good. Again, a beautifully built feud, especially seeing how Rey Rey hasn't said a WORD. Winner: I have to go with JBL, as much as that pains me. I just don't see him bookmarking a fued with losses, plus his whole image consulting storyline would be dead in the water.
Undertaker vs. The Ortons: Whoever loses this better go away for a long, long time so that whoever is leftover can actually get a fresh feud. Everytime Randy's music hits right now, I roll my eyes. Taker's dong doesn't even have the same effect anymore. Winner: Probably the Ortons, though that hardly keeps the feud even. The fact that Undertaker beats RKO is the official dark match of SD right now pretty much tells the entire story
Batista vs. Eddie Guerrero: Amazingly, I'm really looking forward to this match. While Batista has a really limited move set (I actually did a scout report on match, and he used a total of four moves...which is including a clothesline) but his energy is unbelievable and this story has been well drawn out AGAIN! (this really has been a great month for SD, despite the Orton/Taker nonsense.) Still, I just smell a title change and can see Eddie screwing over Batista, despite being his "friend." Should be interesting either way. Winner: Eddie Guerrero, via lieing, cheating, and stealing.
