I would pay a decent sum of money to have a front row seat to the IWC the night Cena or Triple H beats The Undertaker at a Wrestlemania.

Cena, Jericho and CM Punk are the top contenders. Sting's name always gets thrown around and his contact with TNA is ending so it's a possibilty however slim.
I never see anyone mention this, and I've been saying it for the past couple of years, why not do DX vs Brothers of Destruction at Mania? Now would be good timing. -DX is reformed -It's a year after HBK couldn't do it -Kane never gets a big match at mania anymore -He could be the weak link that gives the outcome some doubt. -It would keep HHH out of the title match while still giving him a high profile match -for the same reason this thread was started:there's no one left for him to face.

Cena vs. Taker in a face vs. face match would be DEATH for Cena.

Cena would be an awesome opponent for Taker.
Not only would they be able to have a great match together, he's one of the very very few guys that people could see being booked to win. The key would be to make SURE that Cena stayed as a face, because a heel Cena does not have that same aura.
The heat on the pinfalls by the end would be molten.

Nobody would be a worse choice than Cena. I'd like to see him face CM Punk, with Punk ending the streak. no one's going to end the streak

Cena/Taker i can't deny the points made that i'd be having a heart attactk every "Attitude adjustment" cover.
I like the DX/Brothers thing though. Keep HHH out of main event, HBK can say Taker thing has been eating away at him, Kane can attack HHH or something. Probaly won't happen though.
It's gonna be Cena, i'm sure they wanna get it in before Taker leaves.

Hogan:EVOKE MY CONTROL NWOWWWWW..I WANNA WIN CLEAN W/ DA LEG DROP BROTHER, KICK OUTTA AND HULK UP AFTER A TOMBSTONE BROTHER. Vince: oh not this shit again Taker kills Hogan.

I am thinking Cena vs. Undertaker, being that Cena is billed is the top babyface in the company. Plus I don't think they have met in a babyface vs. babyface match before. They faced each other in a Raw main event (albeit very short) in Columbia a couple of years ago, as face/face.

Real world: Punk Fantasy world: Kurt Angle
Imagine if Angle returned when his contract expired later this year. I'd hold him off until the Royal Rumble, have him as a surprise entrant that wins the whole thing. Angle vs. Taker for the title and the streak at Wrestlemania 26... awesome.

I have this odd notion of Taker ending his own streak. Not with the fake Taker, but by some big emotional finally in which he simply walks away getting counted out.
I was thinking that it should involve Paul Bearer and Kane, and end with Taker about to finish a bloodied and broken Kane when he just can't do it and walks back into the darkness. I've also fantasized about variations involving Foley and other prominent figures from Taker's past including Dibiase and Brother Love, but in the end the streamlined finale is Taker/Kane.
Could be just me, but nothing else would feel as right.

Are people seriously suggesting the horrifically bland Ted DiBiase, Jr. should end Taker's streak or is this just some ragging gag I'm unaware of?

Are people seriously suggesting the horrifically bland Ted DiBiase, Jr. should end Taker's streak or is this just some ragging gag I'm unaware of? Honestly, I can't even understand why people would want Ted to face Taker at all, let alone be considered a viable candidate for ending the streak. People are actually clamouring to see a Ted/Undertaker feud? Really? I don't even think he's worthy of being put in a non-WM program with the Undertaker based on what we've seen of him so far. He's shown me hardly anything. I don't rate him at all.

I will always maintain that Kane/Taker need a third chapter to make a WM trilogy a la Austin/Rock. And just like Austin/Rock, Kane should get a win over his epic foe.
Kane/Taker can have a great match. Kane/Taker have a great epic history and story. Kane in some ways helped rejuvenate Taker's career and has endured many crappy angles in stride for the company.
I'd like to see Kane end the streak. It makes sense. He is a real trooper and veteran and despite all that has happened with his character he is still a legit threat.

I don't see Ted being the guy to break the streak if there were a guy to break they streak BUT, I do see him in a year or two being a Randy Orton type, as a young future star that takes Taker to the limit and almost wins. I mean I could see him flipping out of the Tombstone locking in and hitting Dreamstreet similar to Orton's RKO counter, of course it wouldn't match it in awesomeness but, it would still be cool in my opinion.

It'd be about 14th time lucky for Kane. His PPV record against Taker is laughable. Problem is, and I know what you mean because I'm a big Kane fan, he's already over 40 himself so anything gained won't last as long as it would for a younger, hungry guy. Besides which, I'm still firmly in the camp that says let the streak never be broken

Out of the current WWE/TNA roster the only ones who can beat The Undertaker are John Cena, Sting, and Kurt Angle.
The only one who should be allowed to end the streak is the one who creates the next boom era who the company will make it's number one star. (Example: The next Hogan, Rock, Austin)
I currently don't see anyone like that.

I don't understand the Ted jr. Love. He's nothing special. Realistically, he'd be lucky to MAKE it to Wrestlemania
