It is obvious that since WWE has moved from a TV-14 rating to a PG rating, they have gradually toned down the language, blood, violence, and sex. What surprises me is that they still keep using "Suck It."

Suck what? Besides. It's the audience who says it. I'm sure the two words they mention are "No Way!"

They continue to use the line "Suck It" from the Attitude Era, even though they are marketing their wrestling as a much more kid friendly product.

Comes from the crowd. "Sorry FCC. We can't control what they say." DX never says it.

1. The FCC doesn't regulate cable TV.
2. Last week is wasn't the crowd, it was the woman at the resturant.
3. They are still encouraging kids to yell "Suck It" when they point the mic to crowd, which seems to undermine their new PG philosophy.

You could fill a book with stuff that undermines their new PG philosophy. Or at least a brochure pamphlet. Just last night I saw a commercial for Beer with Rey Mysterio. Were these the kind of sponsors Vinnie Mac said were more accessible with the PG-Shift?

It is a hypocritical mess. WWE obviously isn't going PG. They technically did under the horrible TV rating rules that are all politics just like the movie industries rating system.
The only reaosn they brought back DX is to sell shirts. That is it.
they really just need to cut loose on the PG thing because it makes them look stupid. There were tons of kids that watched WWF in the Attitude Era. Hell according to ratings there were more than there were now.

Suck is not a TV-14 word.

Suck is not a TV-14 word. If suck isn't a TV-14 word than what is? I sure as hell know they can't say any of the stuff that you can only say after 11:00.

"Suck it" is just too vague of a term for anyone of any particularly important position to complain about. Besides, everybody knows it refers to sucking eggs.

Pointing to the crotch and saying suck it isn't that vague ? With Shawn it's more to the stomach than the crotch.

You guys got to be kidding with that Suck It excuse. That was like the biggest issue with parents during the Attitude Era. So it is okay that they can say it now and do the crotch chop when the show is suppose to be PG?
It's a bunch of crap. WWE is trying to sell shirts and completely ignoring their whole PG crap that I think we all knew they would never follow. Or at least we should have known because I sure as hell knew it wouldn't last long.

Also, I noticed that for the PPV or the match it is called "Hell in the Cell." But when they are selling the ring as a toy it is called just "The Cell."

I don't believe the word hell is allowed for a kid's toy. Besides That isn't something new. Back in the Attitude Era they had to call the Mr. Ass figure B.A Billy Gunn. and a couple years back they had to call the Balls Mahoney figure B. Mahoney.

Speaking of toys, back in the day Jeff Jarrett's figure said "Don't Tick Me Off" instead of "Don't Piss Me Off." I did hear rumors of a few misprinted figures of his.

You know, I like that they give us time to get ready first before fully going through with it. It's a nice gesture, I think.
