So what's the over-under on Vince feeling the wrath of Think B4 You Speak?
Because if there's one person you don't want to mess with, it's Hillary Duff!

Vince probably still thinks that gay means the same as jolly.

I think he actually meant "gay" as in homosexual. As in, those mask-wearers are obviously the type of dudes who like dudes to do sexual acts to them.
Now that doesn't make his comment any better, but it fits with the WWE's (and all of wrestling, really) constant gender role stereotyping and sexism.

Vince probably still thinks that gay means the same as jolly. And he was probably having a bully day. Are you having a bully day? If a wrestler said it, they'd be feeling heatz. Nuclear heatz depending on who. Because he owns the damned thing, he can slide by.

Having a number of homosexual friends and having been trying to fight the cause of using "gay" as a derogatory term for years, I was highly offended and severely disappointed.

Why would he comment on the masks at all if he didn't mean to insinuate a homosexual orientation of the mask-wearers? Either way, it was a pretty 'lame' comment if you ask me.

I guess it depends on the person as I've heard people use that term and not necessarily mean the person was gay. Like "that shirt looks gay", you're not talking about the person, just their attire. But to each their own.

Which is weird, when you have DX drawing hearts and kisses around Legacy, and then giving people the option of either A) Getting ready to suck it or B) Suck it.

Vince probably still thinks that gay means the same as jolly. Maybe as he gets older they should rip-off the kind of stuff Mr. Burns says on the Simpsons. Words that haven't been used in decades. Especially words that had harmless meanings originally but sound offensive now. And flying in the corporate zeppelin or autogyro.

Why, I once watched Georg "The Russian Lion" Hackenschmidt fight an Eskimo fellow bare-knuckled for a hundred and thirteen rounds! Of course, back then, if a fight lasted less than fifty rounds, we demanded our nickel back! *Realizes there's an whole Simpsons quotes thread for this very purpose*

It was a needless comment to make, I think.
Then again most of that segment was needless.
