I personally prefer Jericho ATM, the man has become like HBK in the respect that he could have a 5 star match with a broom at this point AND put the broom over a legitimate contender. That said, Punk is there in promos, and in MOST of his in-ring competition, go back to the Anaconda Vice full time and we'll be in business, I just think that is a far better and believable finisher than the GTS. Overall tho, Jericho is a great competitor, so much so that it seems WWE is actively trying to get him on both main shows every week. Why would you go for Y2J? I mean come on he is not doing great at the moment while Punk is at his peak. You weren't asking me, but I'm gonna answer anyway. I voted Jericho because the question is who was the best wrestler this year. I think Jericho has been the most consistent and valuable in ring wrestler of 2009. If the question was something like "Who's gotten a big push and made the most of it" then I would probably vote Punk.

He has just started out and better then most. We are all seeing the start of Punk. The best of Y2J has been done and he can not get any better then he once was.

I'm not sure what point you're making, but regardless, I personally think Jericho is better than ever.

I do not call that better then ever? His work the last two years is being called the overall best of his career by a ton of people, including myself. You keep using the card position argument, and it holds no water here. He was just main eventing earlier this YEAR. Main eventers go to the midcard for periods all the time. You never have 10 people fighting for the world title. Card positioning in a total non-factor.

I feel Y2J 10 years ago was far better then he was over the last 2 years. Yes he was better but can not touch Punk at the moment but will you all be saying Y2J is better then Punk as he gets better? The poll is very mixed.

hard choice 4 me but the punk hardy fued made him alot better n my eyes I agree it is a hard choice. Some of the feuds on that list have been very good but even with the feuds being that good WWE is still stale right now.

Tough choice so I went with the guy I would cheer for if these two had a World Title match, and thats Jericho. Plus he's had better matches than Punk this year imo and is so great WWE has to have him on two brands.
