We've gotta think of fun ways to work wrestling into her campaign. I say put IRS in charge of finances and, as mentioned before, hire the APA to control security. Who will dare try to shoot when they could face a Clothesline From Hell? APA be damned. Only one man can deflect bullets, see off evildoers, keep fanatics away and generally look after Linda's wellbeing... The Hurri... Oh. Wait. There's this guy too...

Cena's going to take over as CEO! Trying to run a company and protect a Congressional candidate at the same time would make for odds Cena couldn't possibly overcome!

Who will dare try to shoot when they could face a Clothesline From Hell? Campaign contributor: I hope that's enough to get me a seat on the campaign bus. Bradshaw: Unfortunately, your contribution check bounced. Farooq: and now..SO ARE YOU!

Cena can overcome ANY odds. ANY. And my vote is that Jericho Personal Security is rehired and assigned to Linda. Snork the APA.

I am opposed to this for three reasons.
For one, when was the last time we saw Linda? If my memory serves me right, it was the RAW Homecoming, when she TURNED HEEL. Do we want a heel in congress?
For two, she has a history of nervous breakdowns putting her in a catatonic state. Can we afford a catatonic congresswoman in the capitol?
And finally, she has a history of quitting her job. How do we know she won't quit and somehow get Steve Austin put in her place?

I wonder what her campaign will look like. I laughed when the Coors guy ran for Congress as a defender of family values -- despite getting rich by selling alcohol with scantily clad twins.

AND THAT'S THE BOTTOM LINE, CAUSE STONE COLD SAID SO! *Two Hours Later* CNN: And the Steve Austin Act passed 435-0. Analysts say the bill, if it passes in the Senate, will make cut off jeans standard wear in the Capitol building, as well as giving Austin impunity if he ever wishes to stun the following...

All her opponents need to do is get their hands on some RAW footage from the Attitude Era and the documents from the steroid trial. Instant lose.

So, 1. The WWE just wished good luck to Linda McMahon in all her future endevours?
2. Jim Cornette just had 3 mild heart attacks, which is only one more than usual.
3. I look forward to JBL's thoughts on this.
4. As for the WWE, I doubt this will have any effect.

Like someone else said I just want to see her come out to No Chance in Hell. That'd be so awesome.

Like someone else said I just want to see her come out to No Chance in Hell. That'd be so awesome. I'd mark. Especially if it was accompanied by a campaign video that was just a loop of her lowblowing Vince/JR, slapping Steph, and one extra smiley portrait shot. NO CHAAAANCE!

The sad thing is whoever her opponent is will use her involvement with wrestling in a negative advertisement.

I remeber reading in a magazine that Linda used to handle the meetings with the shareholders Then Vince started doing it and after ONE meeting WWE's stock fell by about 20%. May just be newz, but just throwing it out there.

Linda strikes me as the political type. I think she has shown her ability to work behind the scenes well in WWE. She clearly has a much more business oriented mind than Vince, which is why she largely stays in the boardroom while he handles the showmanship side of things. She seems to have shown some strong management ability. And I dare say in her rare television appearances, she has shown a certain sort of charisma that is useful in politics. With that said, I would not get my expectations up high for her in this respect. Sadly, the wrestling brand attached to her name will probably kill her chances of ever being taken seriously-especially if she runs as an independent without a major party affiliation. Lest we forget, Jesse Ventura got a lot of opposition during his term as governor of Minnesota because the major political parties did not like their chosen candidates being beaten by an ex pro-wrestler. Linda would most definitely face the same kind of scrutiny.
If Linda is to have a chance, I think it would involve keeping her husband out of her political ambitions. While she could undoubtedly get a lot of publicity through WWE, Vince would probably play it all up to an insane degree that would make her campaign look more like a joke than a real bid for office. Wish her luck.
