I personally liked the guy. I realised he was a bit stiff with his opponent's, but that didn't really bother me. His promo skills were stuff of legend, and often made me lol when they were shown. *Sigh* If only someone today would imitate his promo's......... Im looking at you.....

I liked Ahmed, I remember enjoying his feud with the nation and thinking he was quite over, then he joined the nation and got injured which is a shame, I remember reading somewhere he was about to get a title shot wasn't he before he got injured? And didn't Rock take his place in the Nation?

If Punchy ever came back, he should return with Yuri Dump, because then he could do him an egg and prune what it's like to be with a real man.

When anyone says Ahmed Johson, I immediately think of the sick-ass buttmunch the guy always seemed to have.

And didn't Rock take his place in the Nation?Yes he did. Anyway, I was on the Ahmed Johnson bandwaggon and I marked when he won the IC title from Goldust. However, the joining and leaving The Nation part really screwed up my interest for him. Why would he join the very faction he was in the middle of a feud with. I tell ya, if it wasn't for his nagging injuries, he could've been a much bigger star. Like Ultimate Warrior/Goldberg levels.

If having "the look" was the only qualification for being a star in pro wrestling, Ahmed Johnson would be one of the all-time legends. Unfortunately, he couldn't talk, and his ring skills seemed to deteriorate over time.

I marked for Ahmed, simply because of how unintentionally hilarious he'd be whenever he did ANYTHING. It didn't matter if it was serious or not, he'd reliably cause me to crack up.
If only he could host his own talk show.

Not the mall!
He had a lot of potential. He was over with the fans. He just never quite got back into the swing of things after his injury.

He was a servicable worker and he knew how to excite a crowd.
Also, air and a toothy boy.

Impressive looking, but very sloppy in the ring. There were times, when I was still a little mark, and I just saw him botch and feared for his life. I think it's King of the Ring 96, where he wrestles Goldust and he jumps out of the ring and does some sort of swanton and it almost looks like he lands on his head and almost hits the ringpost too. And you know guys, those jokes about his shorts, it's just very immature, it makes him look like he is unintentionaly very homoerotic and that's not what Ahmed Johnson is about...

*sigh* No, I got a mod to change it to Jenny's number for me as a joke. And I never reverted it back. Now can everyone stop asking? Ok, back to Ahmed. I was a fan of his. Thought his look was different and for a big man did have a decent move list. He was pretty over as well. Got injured, out of shape, reported bad attitude, you name it. I remember when he came to WCW as Big T, in one of the worst storylines of all time. Guy didn't seem like the same wrestler. I felt he was used well in WWE to start and could have gone onto being a huge name but because he was hurt a good few times WWE let him go. I remember WWE never told the fans he was gone it just happened. In WCW he was used very wrong and looked awful. Shame really because he had the look and could have been great.

I used to really like the guy when I was young
Always looked forward to his returns (and there were a few I recall......I seem to remember summit to do with his kidneys, dunno if that was storyline to cover something else or real)
Only match I've seen recently was his match at Mania 13 which was sloppy, but that whole match was a clusterf*** and can't really base an opinion now on that

I liked playing as him in WWF Warzone because he could give out a lot of damage. I would rather forget about his time in Harlem Heat 2000.

Ok with power moves. His intensity on the mic was great, but, as shown, his words were hard to understand. Yeah, as I mark, I thought Ahmed was awesome. I know he has a reputation as being a dangerous worker now, but at the time I thought he was legitimately good at hurting other wrestlers.
