Someone they never really gave a chance to..... DDP he got very unfairl;y buried. He could have and should have been WWF Champion sometime between 2001 and now and headlined a few Wrestlemaina's instead he gets beaten by Undertaker and jobbed out to Undertakers wife made to look extremely lame and complete buried. Also Kronik were an excellent big man team in WCW and they got buried by Undertaker and Kane (Undertake mis just as bad as Hogan backstage with the ex WCW stars he buried during the Invasion)> The lesson here is, don't pick a fight with the Undertaker, or he will not slay thee in thy turn. He will bear thee away to the houses of lamentation, beyond all darkness, where thy flesh shall be devoured, and thy shrivelled mind be left naked to the Lidless Eye.

Easier question:
Which former WCW wrestlers DID get a chance in the WWE: Chris Jericho Rey Mysterio Booker T Giant/Big Show Chris Benoit Chavo/Eddie Guerrero
I would argue that even though Goldberg was champ, he never really got to establish himself in WWE. The rest of the WCW guys were pretty much just brought in for the "inVasion", and let go soon after.

Yang has had a good run though split in two, ditto Jamie Noble. Steiner was given several chances but, injuries stopped him. If you count Booker than might as well throw in Sharmell. Juvi was given a good run but, screwed himself out of it. Johnny the Bull had a good little run, same for Kidman. Cannot forget Stacy and Torrie but, they weren't really wrestlers.

Yeah actually the point of this thread was guys from WCW who WWE never signed or if they did they didnt put them on tv. Obviously DDP wasnt given a fair shake but he was signed and put on tv therefore he was given a chance even if doomed to fail. I probably should have worded the topic differently. Oh well.

They never gave Sgt. Craig "Pitball" Pitman a chance I think him and Slaughter would've made an awesome tag team

Crowbar. He was given a few dark/Heat/Velocity matches over the years, even using the Crowbar gimmick for some of them. Agreed. Devon Storm was a terrific worker and had a neat look. and Daffney, she would have been a great heel for Lita/Trish back in 2001. Also agreed. The girl had a great character, a unique look and could wrestle.

I always liked above average mike sanders and sean ohaire. Sean did get a couple of shots but his character sorta got lost int he shuffle, and I dont recall ever seeing mik sanders again.

I'm sorta surprised Konnan didn't get a spot, even with the Max Moon beef, after the Invasion He would've been great for the Spanish speaking market, was friends with Rey, and could've been a great mouthpiece for the Mexicools.

A lot of these guys DID get chances.
Devon Storm worked a ton of Shotgun tapings in 1997. LaReoux, Sanders, Skipper, and Romeo all had time in developmental. Scott Norton was the apple of Vince's eye from mid 1990 all the way up until WCW got him to sign full time in 1995, but he, Norton, chose not to sign.
DDP was pretty old to be brought in as a new wrestler. Did you really think he'd get past mid card level when nearly all of the guys above him were 10-15 years younger than him?

Sanders and Reno actually worked a dark match at a RAW I went to in Anaheim back in the InVasion era. The match was OK, but the crowd was apathetic. Probably a reason why neither was brought up, plus the InVasion was already beginning to falter, so they didn't need them.

I would've loved Stevie Ray as a commentator on Smackdown or ECW.

Good choice. The Jung Dragons (Hiyashi and Jimmy Yang) could have had an awesome feud with the Hardys or E + C. Or they could have had a comedy feud with Kaientai.

Absolutely, considering that using DDP properly as part of the Invasion could've made WWF tons more money, as was the case with all the WCW main eventers.

Absolutely, considering that using DDP properly as part of the Invasion could've made WWF tons more money, as was the case with all the WCW main eventers. How do you figure? DDP has the distinction of main eventing one of the lowest drawing PPVs of all-time and his world title reigns in WCW didn't exactly set the world on fire. Slamboree 2000 had a .14 buyrate, good for 5th lowest ever. Kollision in Korea, for crying out loud, had a higher buyrate and was promoted exclusively on Worldwide. Better yet, he holds a place with Scott Steiner at Greed for lowest WCW PPV buyrate of all-time at .10. How was that guy, at age 45 mind you, supposed to make "tons" more money for the WWF?
