Ok just to clear things up, my point wasn't how LOUD the cheers were, my problem was the fact that they added some (pretty noticeable) cheers to begin with, especially the moment where he slides into the ring. Someone posted (what looks like) the original video when it aired, and you can clearly hear the difference. Although, I'm sure when it originally aired, Cena walked out to Marilyn Manson's "Beautiful People", which was Smackdown's theme at the time, so they had to dub that over with some generic theme. Fact is, there was no point to add in the noticeable (but not standing ovation-like) cheers for Cena, just because he's currently the top guy. Cena did indeed originally walk out to "The Beautiful People".

Honestly I'm surprised they didn't swap out that footage with his feud with Angle from 2005. I find it surprising that the WWE would admit John Cena can lose a match here or there.

It'd rule doing the "Ruthless aggression!" thing then cutting to their match at Unforgiven 2005, all while the commentary's dubbed over to act like this is Cena's debut. And on SmackDown.

Theres a guy on youtube that edited cena debut match to look like he won...

Well if he came out to Beautiful People I can see why they dubbed over it, but now I wish that they dubbed over it with the actual generic theme he got soon afterwards. But then that's just me being a continuity nitpicker and no-one else gives a crap.

...or why they changed his generic theme, for that matter. Maybe they plan on using it for Bryan Danielson's debut.

Heh, I didn't hear anything particularly shocking. Sounds like your regular "we hate this guy so let's cheer whoever is willing to give him a beating" moment to me.

It would be funny if they added a huge ovation and Cena chants during the whole match.

Am I the only one who thought this was going to be a thread about the Miz?

Well, at least it wasn't that fliptop emo/army hair he had in OVW. Hot mess~! How about him as a blonde? I want this as his new catchphrase.
