I wonder if Nancy Grace will cover his death? "Test was sad over being demoted from the Four Horsemen to RAW."

And if I was a betting man, no, Nancy Grace will not cover this. If it happened a year and a half ago, yes x1000, but not now.

I always thought he would be WWE Champion one day, especially when he was going to "marry" Stephanie, course I was a mark back then and thought HHH just liked breaking his nose.
He was awesome during his T&A days and his run with Stacy, but pairing him with Steiner killed all interest I had for him. Although he did look beast in his ECW run.
All that aside, rest in peace Test, another of my Attitude Era guys gone.
*sigh*

RIP. Never a good thing when something like this happens, regardless of opinions on the wrestler.

I was always a fan of his. When he first started, he had that stoic bodyguard look down pat. When he started to wrestle, I was entertained. When he found his nitch (Hardcore TItle, among other times), I thought he was a very underrated talent. When he won the Immunity Battle Royal, I figured it meant HUGE things for him.
I wasn't sold on him after that, though. After that, he just wasn't the same.
But to his credit, I did always sign him in EWR, and had him as a created Canadian wrestler's bodyguard. He fit the role very well, and always gained quick overness.
It's very sad to see. But it's sad to think of what might have been. I believe personally it was down to 2 things, suicide or steroids/drugs. At the end of the day, though, another young wrestler is dead. It is unfortunate.
Thanks for the memories, Andrew.

I'm shocked and saddened to hear about this news. I remember becoming a fan of his pretty quickly when he first broke out onto the scene and pretty much throughout his entire WWF/E run. This is really crummy news. And at 33, doesn't this make him one of the youngest wrestling deaths in recent years?

Damn, not exactly a good way to start my day. Read his blog just yesterday and was happy to read that he was doing fine. RIP to the only wrestler ever to appear on a chat show here in Belgium.

Here's an update, courtesy of the breaking news update on F4W.
The police have yet to confirm a name, but various wrestlers and other people have.
He had Kelly Kelly's Blockbuster card on him, for the sake of argument.
He was at Mania last year and was upbeat and said he wanted to retire at 35 anyway and go to college to become a physical therapist.

Terribly sad to hear this. I was not a real fan of the guy, but no one deserves such a sad fate at such a tragically young age. My thoughts go out to his friends and family.

I was never the biggest fan of the guy, but some of the stuff he did was very good and I enjoyed it. Its never good to see someone died, and my thoughts go out to his family and friends. R.I.P Andrew,

His street fight with Shane was awesome, but sadly he never quite lived up to his potential.
I can't believe how young he was. No matter how many times these stories happen, it never gets easier to hear.
RIP.

Well this is packed with suck. Andrew always impressed me with his blogs and interviews regarding the buisness...he was a guy that knew all the pitfalls, he had went down them, and didnt want anyone following him. He made it his buisness to make people aware of the physical problems and the dangers of promotions that say one thing to you and mean another Despite the usual hardships, he never came across as a defeatist, and got back on his feet. It looks like he had when he died, but who knows how long that'd have lasted He was one of the more undervalued "big men" in the buisness, and he could also play the part of an obnoxious, mysoginistic heel incredibly well. Wrestling has lost a, by all accounts, a dependable guy when used correctly. I'll greatly miss Andrew Martin's passion, confidence, and his interaction with the fans on a regular basis through his blogs and Myspace.

I haven't been a fan of Martin's for a long time, but no one deserves to go at that age.
Damn, he was my age, too. Freaky.
We're having way too many of these.
Rest In Peace, man.

This is really sad. Back when I first started watching wrestling full-time back in early 2001 (before that I could only watch it at a friends' house) I remember Test being one of the first people I cheered for (I wanted him to retain the European Title against Eddie Guerrero at WM 17). I was never a huge fan of his, but his presence on my television screen never offended me. My condolences to his family.
Was he still dating Kelly Kelly? My condolences to her, regardless.
