ok, apparently PWI got it from Tammy Sytch's facebook, but Sytch got it from Georgianne Makropolous, a noted and pretty accurate reporter. Sigh.

And here I was thinking this guy had moved on in life and was off to better things. Terrible news for the wrestling community. Rest in peace.

From F4WOnline.com
We don't have details, but there are multiple reports that Andrew "Test" Martin passed away earlier today at his condo in Tampa.
Martin was four days shy of his 34th birthday.
Police in Tampa confirmed a death in the condo but wouldn't identify the name, but numerous sources within wrestling have confirmed it was him. No details as to the death were reported.
Martin last wrestled with WWE in February, 2007, when he was released after failing a drug test. He worked a few weeks with TNA but the company decided against hiring him. He had of late worked some tours for Nu Wrestling Evolution, and most recently had worked in Japan on shows promoted by Leon "Vader" White.

Just heard. This is depressing. I was actually a Test fan at times when others were ridiculing him. I remember seeing him at a RAW show in Summer 2000. I wanted to get his autograph but he was on the phone. I'm just bummed right now.

Wow. That's horrible news. I just read a blog yesterday where he seemed like he had the time of his life with his trip to Japan and he seemed like he was happy. He was such a young guy too.
RIP.

I remember I got to meet Test at a local autograph signing back in September 2005. I asked him if he was considering going to TNA. He told me he wasn't really sure, and that he was considering going to Japan first. Less than a year later, he made his debut on ECW.
R.I.P. Test
