I think this is the worst RAW thus far. I still rate it above Cedric the Entertainer RAW. That's the worst for me (at least the other guests hosts have provided some intrigue, added to a story arc or caused accidental hilarity).

I think this is the worst RAW thus far. I wouldn't say that, but it did feel like every segment dragged on for forever. It was a very slow show tonight, at least that's how it felt to me.

I wouldn't know. Instead of torturing myself by watching that trash, I watched the Cowboys/Panthers game and am now watching Community. I'm thouroughly enjoying my Monday night and don't feel like I've missed anything of importance by not watching Raw. Strange how I've been feeling that way ever since I made that decision weeks ago.

It was so bad...
...my remote control blocked me from turning on the USA Network without me knowing.
...Michael Cole has just posted his resume over on Monster.com. He titled his cover letter "Level-Headed Experienced Announcer Who Says Vintage Too Much".
...Buff Bagwell thought it sucked.
...Vince McMahon snapped and was seen backstage wearing his underwear on his head while wiping his ass on the cement floor like a dog with feces stuck to his fur.

That's the weird bit, I think Sharpton took up, all totalled, about 7 or 8 minutes of screen time all night, and the show still REALLY blew. There just really wasn't anything good about tonight's show. Or at least not enough good to balance out the bad.

Everyone thought that he'd ruin everything and there'd be some sort of Ragnarok flame war on here over him. Rather disappointing that he was such a minor part and that WWE sucked hard on its own, esp. since we blame the GMs so much (Cedric, ZZ Top, Piven).

Yeah, Sharpton set up the one tag match at the top of the show, and did 2 or 3 little "wacky" promo segments in the back. By comparison to ZZ Top or Cedric The Entertainer, he was actually damn good.

Okay, I offically rescind my "Sharpton will be the doom of RAW" schtick. Seems like RAW is quite skilled at destroying itself.

WWE.com gives the match as a Cena win which is hilarious. Of course they do. Though when a cell lowers and the participants climb it, with no referee 10-count mind you, and one guy uses the (technically) weapon against his opponent (not resulting in a DQ, naturally), that's as clear cut a victory as I've ever seen.

It bugged me, making a huge point to have Jericho and Big Show work Cena over like hell.. to get him near death for Randy Orton to pick the bones. Then all of a sudden it was like Cena said, "Hey, pain receptors, nevermind."
It would've made the exact same amount of sense if Jericho and Show spent the first ten minutes hitting Cena with a pillow.
I wouldn't have minded so much if they had gone with Orton comes in, starts tearing Cena apart... but the second Cena realizes it was Orton, he started to do a heroic comeback. Orton would knock him down, but Cena would get back up, then eventually start into a flurry of offense as the Cell lowers. Then right at Cena actually gets to full speed, he gets Orton onto his shoulders... Cena's back gives out.. Orton slides out of the ring, exits the door and heads to the back. Cole and Lawler can put over Cena saying he won't quit and he won't die that easily, but put over Orton by saying the damage HAS been done to Cena and all Orton has to do is capitalize at the PPV.

it was worse than when a guy stares right into the camera during a porno. It was worse then when they show the guys face and he talks in a porno!

To answer an old, old question from a couple of months back....
Was Stone Cold ever booked to look this strong during his entire run?

To answer an old, old question from a couple of months back.... Was Stone Cold ever booked to look this strong during his entire run? Austin never really got beat dowwn and made a comeback. If he was beat down he was beat down and if he was gonna beat a bunch of people he would sneak up on them. Cena just runs head first into trouble and always comes out on top.

I usually watch Raw out of dumb curiosity, and decided to skip this week. Good thing I did. I don't think I would have been able to stomach the stupidity.

Austin's dominance was always the result of him being smarter than the people he was going up against. If he couldn't get the jump on them, he'd either just beat them, or get his ass kicked, especially when a group was involved.

It was over an old dispute over whether Austin was booked strong or not. I argued he wasn't booked as strong as Cena. Austin usually won his matches, but wasn't overpowered to Cena level and could actually get hurt/go down (usually through numbers or someone's trick). Rock actually jobbed a good amount. What people are describing this Cena match as looking like is Hogan booking.

What people are describing this Cena match as looking like is Hogan booking. Are you talking mid nineties wcw face Hogan booking? Because even in his rock and wrestling run he would occasionally cheat to win and I don't recall him ever beating 3 guys in one night (or two for that matter)
