Thanks for clearing that up. I wouldn't imagine WWE letting Jericho beat Cena for the first time on a RAW, but it's definitely a tease to have him tap out.

Are you talking mid nineties wcw face Hogan booking? Because even in his rock and wrestling run he would occasionally cheat to win and I don't recall him ever beating 3 guys in one night (or two for that matter) Hogan used to fight 2 guys at once all the time back in the late 70s when freddie blassie was his manager Were they jobbers or tag champs?

Personally, I think all it did was make Jericho and Show look like crap. Work the back the ENTIRE time, in a Boston crab for a few minutes, camel clutch by a guy that weighs a quarter ton, punched in the back over and over by same big dude, yet then he lifts Big Show on his shoulders with no straining or effort apparently.
i get it, they're not on his level, but damn, that was just bad.

Terrible.
Cena once again no selling everything. Both Jericho and Show ere both working on his back then suddenly he can lift Show on his shoulders.
Yeah..
Then when the cage came down he didn't feel the effect of having 2 matches. Yet he did like 1 minute earlier.
Think I'm done with Raw now.

To say he didn't sell the Walls is an outright lie. He DID lift Show, but it's not like he sprung up from the mat, did some jumping jacks, and a cartwheel, then lifted him. It only happened after a commercial break, Big Show wasting time, and telegraphing a chokeslam, which Cena countered to buy time until he could fight back. It's stupid, I'll give you that, and it defied logic, but less of it was "Cena is a superman" and more that the heels took him lightly, since neither bothered to have an actual match with him, instead trying to maim him.

Here's the thing.Show's punches, they sell them like one shot will put you out, that's beenhis gimmick for some time now. So after the walls and at least a dozen of said punches to the small of the back, Cena can float out ofa chokeslam (fine) and in under a minute have show on his shoulders with no struggle. That was the moment that killed the match for me. Not Orton's slow walk, not the DDT, just the fact that he could deadlift Show effortlessly, no grimmace of pain or anything.

It was smart, you couldn't have JeriShow, Orton or Cena loses clean right before a PPV. The only part I hated was Cena's EPIC no selling AFTER JeriShow matches. Seriously we bitch about Cena's no selling alot, but tonight was well deserved. Again, EPIC!

Yeah, I'll agree that was bad. I am under the impression they were probably running out of time. The Cell part of show ran significantly longer than they usually do.

It's status quo for this show, so I expect this by now.
