Yeah, and bring back Vickie as Rita Repulsa then. Would that make Big Show Goldar? Santino and Beth Phoenix can be Bulk and Skull. You choose which is which. Melina is Rita, we've been over this. JR is Zordon.

Santino=Skull Beth=Bulk And all the bad guys need to wear shirts with an even number (2,4,6, etc.) on them. Cena may overcome THE ODDS, but what about THE EVENS?

I like Cena and all, but it sucks ass when they try to sell him as an unstoppable comeback babyface.
That said, usually after shitty booking decisions like this, they redeem themselves at the next pay-per-view.

This all sounds pretty crappy. Don't think I'll bother watching it.
Whoever's booking for Cena really needs to get their head out of their arse and realise that seeing him overcome every obstacle without any apparent effort is about as interesting as a circa 2002 Triple H promo.

I was ok with it up till Orton came out
Jerishow getting themselves DQed just to beat the snot out of Cena I get but Ortons reaction to HIAC lowering............."Oh noes, trapped in HIAC with a severely weakened opponent (Well, in what normal cases would be a severely weakened opponent) was brain-dead writing
It's s*** like this that caused me to no longer care about Cena. I don't get angry or happy, I could not care less what they do with his character and that's a shame cause he ain't the worst wrestler in the world, he was a fan as a kid and from what I've seen he's a very likable person IRL yet the WWE has turned it so that I no longer spend money on the current product due to my overwhelming apathy to Cena and the RAW main-event scene
Mind you, it was a pretty bad RAW in general I thought

I don't think the main event was that horrible. It served its purpose in storyline terms. Orton was using jericho and show to weaken Cena. That was Jerishow's only purpose in that ring: to injure cena at any cost. That's why both jericho and show applied their respective holds until they were disqualified. This left cena ripe for the kill when orton came down. Now, that's why the two dq's work. However, I was a little puzzled by the ending as far as whether or not the match was thrown out or not. Despite that, I do feel that the match did its job which was to hype thier cell match especiially during the aftermath when they were fighting on the top of the cell, which to my knowlege, hasn't been done since 2002. The show ended with me wishing I could order the ppv.

To answer an old, old question from a couple of months back.... Was Stone Cold ever booked to look this strong during his entire run? Austin never really got beat dowwn and made a comeback. If he was beat down he was beat down and if he was gonna beat a bunch of people he would sneak up on them. Cena just runs head first into trouble and always comes out on top. Ok, WHAT? Austin wouldn't sneak up on anyone, his music would hit and he would walk down the ramp and slide into the ring with his opponent watching his every move. Unless he has some sort of cloaking device, that doesn't sound sneaky. Austin used to destroy groups of 10-15 people by himself! He had an entire royal rumble out to get him and he still only lost due to cheating.

I like Cena and all, but it sucks ass when they try to sell him as an unstoppable comeback babyface. That said, usually after s***ty booking decisions like this, they redeem themselves at the next pay-per-view. True. Then again, the PPV's have had a pretty good streak as of late - so I don't think an obviously rushed Raw ending should say much for the actual match - which will probably be great. Mind you, that's me - I'm already a proper fan and I'm not the one they're trying to sell the PPV to. Let's just say those who needed that little extra push to buy the show likely didn't get it last night. Whilst it hasn't been half as bad as last night for years, they really should tone down the whole "Supercena-ness". Sure he's not winning every single match anymore, but the whole rejuvination business tends to fall flat in this day and age - especially when it's done like that. Honestly, it would be more acceptable if it was like an over-the-top Hogan or HBK comeback - but it wasn't. It was just Cena taking a beating, then slowly getting up and being fine. There was no opportunity for a crowd pop, it didn't look particularly impressive due to the shakyness and whilst there's certainly a niche for making a recovery - one that blatant can only hurt the others. I liked that they went to the top of the cell at least.

Just reading what the results were, the complete void of psychology I'm sensing from this entire angle is jaw dropping.
Let me get this straight: the TAG CHAMPIONS, two of your biggest and best wrestlers, work a guy's back to the point where he's supposed to be worn out (and your heel tag champs had ALREADY WORKED A MATCH EARLIER!), yet he lifts the 500 lb. champ with little to no trouble, then takes out the #1 heel challenger with no trouble whatsoever?
So...what was the point of having Jericho and Show go at him at all, if he was basically going to pretend that they didn't actually do anything to him?
It makes them look pathetic, and good LORD, does that make Orton sound pathetic.
WWE is awful about this, it seems, putting themselves in impossible booking positions where there's no way to escape while making everybody look good.

Out of interest, when was the last time cena was beaten clean in a 1 on 1 match? Probably some time when he was still Rappin' John Cena Heel.

As stupid as that segment was...
I did think it was cool when Cena AA'd Orton on top of the Cell. I mean, it was the first time guys had fought on top of the cell in YEARS. They should have saved it for Sunday, though.

Just wanna say, I don't have a hard time believing that a "weakened" Cena could lift Big Show, especially when one of the main contributors to the "weakening" was Jericho's lame-ass Walls of Boston.
I mean, Cena carried Show AND Edge on his shoulders at WrestleMania.. that's like, almost 800 pounds.

He had an entire royal rumble out to get him and he still only lost due to cheating. Well, he did do some sneaking at the '98 Rumble. His music hit, everyone stopped, looked at the entrance waiting for Austin, and he came in from the crowd and eliminated a couple of guys. Other than that, I can't think of another time when he did any sneaking. Out of interest, when was the last time cena was beaten clean in a 1 on 1 match? If I'm right, I think it was against Big Show on the Raw before Wrestlemania.

I'm probably in the minority here, but I didn't think it was all that bad. Don't get me wrong. . . it wasn't good, either. RAW rarely really is good, you see. So, this main event felt like every other one to me. I just wish Orton would've fallen THROUGH the cell. That needs to happen to someone. Oh, and Randy's going over on Sunday. That's pretty well known, right?
