Consensus seems to be that TNA is where it's at for women's wrestling right now, with an extremely diverse and talented roster. Several posters have suggested the idea of an all-Knockouts show alongside Impact. Assuming this hypothetical show was also on Spike, this idea actually makes some sense, since Spike still markets itself as the TV equivalent of a men's magazine. My concern would be that the women's roster would become more and more (for lack of a better term) Diva-ized and the focus would shift from wrestling to...T&A...if the initial ratings were lackluster. Thoughts? Is an all-Knockouts show plausible? Would it end up being a good thing or a bad thing? And let's try to be objective here and remember that this whole board watching the show wouldn't be enough to make it successful.

Yes please. Yes please.
TNA has a Knockouts roster deep enough for one already, but it would leave room for PORTIA FRIGGEN PEREZ!
As for successful, jury's out.

I think an hour show could work.
And obviously more focus would beput on them, but I think there would still be good matches along with the "Diva stuff".

I think if they replaced that saturday replay with it, it could easily work.

The ratings wouldn't be much worse than Superstars and I'm sure the price for Spike would be much better.

I think it would work.
If they did that, it would allow them to further expand an already successful division and maybe lure Gail Kim back.

I think a 1-hour Knockouts show could work. It wouldn't pull the same rating as Impact, but it would be a solid B-Show for TNA. The reason I think it could work is not because of the women's wrestling itself, and not because of the sex factor alone. I think it is because of all the various characters that make up the Knockouts. If TNA had 20 females all with roughly the same gimmick (like WWE), it wouldn't work. However the Knockouts have very different characters that let the fans actually know who is who.

I don't know about an hour. It would be tough to pull off every week without it getting old quickly.
I think an hour special every now and then would be fine, but weekly? Eh.

they can't even book one show you want them to book two, especially when the second has so many temptations for cheap and easy storylines and pole-matches and wrestlers being devalued from wrestlers to eye candy?

Yes, but only if they actually tried to market it towards women and young girls.
Men would watch anyway.

Definately. The Knockouts segments are often the highest rated on Impact. Not sure if that's still the case but during a recent video interview with the Baltimore Sun the reporter told Daffney her segments were always the highest rated. On a side notice Daffney seemed humbled by the news and it was just so darn cute but I digress... I actually believe there is more of an upside to women's wrestling than there is with men's right now. Hot ladies who can wrestle? The average punter would eat the shit up. That and you don't have the whole "Oh, he's totally on steroids" stigma attached. If they book it like they do the Knockouts division and not turn it into T&A it could be big.

Yes i think an all Knockout show would work i think especially with all the new knockouts coming in and possibly doing the whole show thing could help build the knockout division for the PPV's.
