Has Paul ever revealed where certain things were going with various storylines following Guilty as Charged?
It was clear that RVD and Rhino were gonna go head to head for the World title at some point. But how long would Rhino duck him? It seemed that was going to be the case by the end of the PPV. Rhino challenges anyone, RVD shows up but that gets interrupted. Paul was always one for the slow burn.
Rhino probably would've had to deal with The Sandman anyway for a bit with the whole Lori angle still going on and him stealing the belt from Sandman that way.
CW Anderson looked prime to get a push after that I Quit match with Tommy. I assume another tournament would've happened for the TV Title and I think Anderson would've made a good champion. That title is in his "blood" afterall. Perhaps he could beat the newly heel Jerry Lynn in the finals.
Speaking of Jerry, where would he go with his new bond with Cyrus?
And what of the New Impact Players of Justin Credible and Steve Corino? Probably would've been tag champs eventually but how long would it take? Paul built up Doring and Roadkill's tag title win as a huge deal. It would suck to take that away from them so fast. Maybe York and Matthews beat Doring and Roadkill before the Impact Players take it from them instead?
What else am I forgetting?

I could see Doring and Roadkill feuding with Diamond and Swinger with Dawn getting involved a lot, also The Sandman go out at with Chris Hamrick as a good mid-carder feud, another things that would've been cool if Chris Chetti began doing an evil ref gimmick since he was forced to leave ECW due to Nova and cost Nove a lot of victories ala Valintine and Garvin

CW was set to turn complete face and take the TV title and Low Ki was set to debut but, that is all I know for sure.

I don't think Doring and Roadkill would have had a long reign. ECW was in Panic Mode at that point.

Paul was really, really high on Oz, going as far to say that "he's the type of guy you can build a whole company around."

The reason I say that is because since Doring was a supposed ladies man, and Dawn wasn't the brightest bulb in the pack, they probably could've done something with Doring sweeping Dawn off her feet and have her align with Doring and Roadkill. And there was already an evil ref in I believe HC Loc. You could have him tryin' to be fighting for his job back though.

with Low Ki debuting and of course his idea for WWECW wouldn't he eventually try to transform ECW's product into more what ROH was in it early years

Low Ki was set to debut? VERY interesting. I do remember hearing whispers in 2004 that Heyman was after Chris Daniels in ECW (and Daniels did have 1 match in ECW, I believe at a House Party in either 1999 or 2000), but not Ki. Also don't recall HC Loc being in ECW, and whats this about "Paul's idea for WWECW"? Paul was really, really high on Oz, going as far to say that "he's the type of guy you can build a whole company around." Oz? Who is Oz? That said, I believe its a much greater shame that ECW went under than WCW. WCW was rudderless at the end ECW, though cash was pouring out and some big names had gone, was still looking like it had a direction and actually looked set to pick up. I think if it hadn't gone under there'd probably never have been an ROH, and CZW would have died around 2002-03. It's a What If to rival the WCW buyout, or arguably surpass it.

the idea for wwecw i was refering to was that i heard he wanted it to be more shoot based style so he probably would have wanted to bring in the roh type generation of guys if possible if he already was after low ki

Wasn't ROH created in fact by ECW's video tape/DVD distributor, because ECW's collapse left a major financial void in the books? If ECW lived, no ROH.

Can't believe nobody's mentioned Chilly Willy. I think 2001 would have seen a lot of new faces. Heyman was smart and he knew the only major draw he had at that time was RVD, not saying other guys weren't big stars within ECW but RVD was sombody I think Heyman would have liked to centre his company around whilst elevating others.

I'm just wondering how many, if any, of the guys currently on the new ECW would have made it to this alt universe ECW, had it survived to 2009?
Tatsu I could see, as Heyman did like bringing in talent from Japan (bWo Japan and Masato Tanaka, for example)
Christian could have been a possible around 2005. Insted of TNA he ended up in ECW.
Same with Goldust when he went there.
Punk probably would have been a major star in ECW (though his current life is doing pretty well so he's better off in the real world).
Any others?

I reckon they would have had a heel stable with all the old Tough Enough runners-up, lower mid card act that the crowd loves to rip the piss out of.

I think RVD would likely be the next World champion. I can see CW getting pushed more and becoming a bigger star. If true about Low Ki I can see him being the guy that basicly replaces the role that Tajiri left. Working with feuds with Guido and Crazy. Then down once his is established TV title picture.
I would agree ROH wouldn't have happened and most of the ROH guys from the earily days would been there. TNA would be even a question mark. If WCW still went down. I can see Kid Kash and Jason Jett (EZ Money) returning to TNA. AJ Styles could be there too. I think a lot of the WCW guys that didn't get called up and end up released could been signed to ECW.
I kinda wonder maybe Eddie Guerrero could has a brief run too in 2002. If you remember he wrestled twice for ROH before he signed back to the WWE. There could be a period where Eddie could had a brief role.

Despite the fact that I've watched Guilty as Charged 2001 a lot (used to own the DVD), I have no idea what was going on storyline wise in ECW after they lost their deal with TNN. I've been trying to find house show results and stuff, but no luck. Didn't they have some house shows after Guilty as Charged as well? I know there was a PPV scheduled for March.
I remember hearing that Corino won the ECW title towards the end. I have no idea when that was though.
If somebody could find and post the results for all of the ECW shows after the TNN show, that would be great.

Naofumi Yamamoto wouldn't debut until 2002 in New Japan. And would at least pass 3 years in the company. That's a stretch to see him in the old ECW.
HOWEVER, I believe Heyman would be willing to partner up with ZERO-ONE and All Japan in 2002, so people like Satoshi Kojima, Shinjiro Otani, Ikuto Hidaka (who actually had some matches in ECW) and the like would be certainly possible.

Think about what the stuff he did in ROH....and times that by ten. Definite fued with Sandman, assuming he'd be using the straightedge gimmick. Also would've liked to have seen Goldust. And Curry Man And the Boogeyman. All would've been fun
