23. Triple H vs. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin In late 1999, Steve Austin's neck was getting worse from the botched piledriver he took from Owen Hart in 1997 that he needed surgery on it to continue to wrestle. During mid 99, Triple H and Austin had wars on Raw and PPV, most of them ending in no contests. At the 1999 Survivor Series, the main event was Austin defending the WWF title against Triple H and The Rock. During the show, a car hit Austin in the parking lot. News spread that Austin was injured and needed surgery. Austin would return in September and it was discovered thanks to WWF Commisioner, Mick Foley, that Rikishi was the driver of the car. Austin then proceded to kill Rikishi at every event and fans interest sunk as Rikishi didn't make a convincing heel. A month before the 1 year anniversary of the hit and run, it's revealed that Triple H was the mastermind of the plan. The match was made for the 2000 Survivor Series with Austin vs. Helmsley No DQ. The match would end in a no contest after they brawled into the parking lot and Austin used a crane to lift a car with Triple H inside and dropped it upside down. Triple H would return and fight Austin in the 6 Man Hell in a Cell match at Armageddon. Austin would then win the 2001 Royal Rumble match but Hunter challenged him at No Way Out to end the feud in a 3 Stages of Hell match. Austin would get the first win in a regular match and Hunter would win the street fight match. The final fall would be a steel cage match and Triple H would beat Austin and win the feud. 22. "Nature Boy" Ric Flair vs. "Macho Man" Randy Savage In early 1992, after Randy Savage ended his rivalry with Jack Roberts, WWF champion, Ric Flair alleges to have had an affair with Savage's valet, Miss Elizabeth. Savage was irate at the claim but Flair said he had proof. Savage challenged Flair for the WWF title at Wrestlemania VIII. Flair accepted the challenge and promised the second he win, he'd reveal a photograph of Liz all across the arena. It didn't happen as Savage would defeat Flair on pretty much one leg to win his 2nd World Title only for Flair and Mr. Perfect to attack him after the match. Flair and his right hand man, Mr. Perfect, would go and try to make Savage's life hell including interfering in Savage's match with the Ultimate Warrior at Summerslam. Three days later, Flair defeated Savage to regain the WWF title. Savage would pursue Flair but would fall short of winning the world title. He teamed up with Flair's former ally, Mr. Perfect at the Survivor Series to face Flair and Razor Ramon, to which Savage and Perfect would win by DQ. Flair would leave the WWF in a few months after losing the title a month later to Bret Hart. When Savage arrived in WCW, he went right after Flair, helping Hulk Hogan in the process. They fought at Slamboree 95 with Savage teaming with Hogan against Flair and Vader. Savage and Hogan would win and the first Savage vs. Flair singles match was made at the Great American Bash the next month. Flair would defeat Savage in that encounter. A month later, Savage would get a win at Bash at the Beach in a "Lifeguard match". In November at World War 3, Savage would win the WCW title in the 60 man, 3 ring battle royale. Savage would have three challengers for Starrcade, one being Flair with the others being Lex Luger and Sting. Flair would win a triple threat match at Starrcade and would face Savage and defeat him to win the WCW title. A month later on Nitro, Savage would shock Flair again by defeating him to win back the WCW title. They would face each other at SuperBrawl VI in a steel cage match. Flair would regain the WCW title with help from Miss Elizabeth. 20. Edge and Christian vs. The Hardy Boyz vs. The Dudley Boyz In the early 21st century, there were three dominant tag teams in the WWF, Edge and Christian, Matt and Jeff Hardy, and Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley. The three brother teams would collide at Wrestlemania XVI in a ladder match that featured a lot of tables. Edge and Christian would dethrone the Dudleys and win the tag team titles. Throughout spring and summer, E&C, the Hardyz and Dudleyz would trade the tag team titles with use of tables by the Duds, chairs by E&C and ladders by the Hardyz. When Edge and Christian held the tag titles, WWF commisioner Mick Foley would make the first ever Tables, Ladders and Chairs match with the tag team titles on the line at Summerslam. At Summerslam, the three teams stole the show with Edge and Christian retaining the tag team titles. The titles would switch around constantly including having some runs by the Right to Censor, Too Cool and Rock and Undertaker. The three teams would meet again at Wrestlemania XVII in TLC II with the Dudleys defending. Edge and Christian, like last year would come out on top regaining the tag titles for the seventh time. TLC III came on Smackdown which included Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho where they would win the tag team titles. Between February of 2000 to November of 2001, Edge and Christian, the Hardys and Dudleys traded the tag team titles between themselves TEN times Tribute Videos: E&C vs. Hardyz vs. Dudleys: Wrestlemania XVI: Ladder match Part 1 www.youtube.com/watch?v=0TjHHX-ktHkPart 2 www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXJO1Y0CwXs&feature=relatedPart 3 www.youtube.com/watch?v=ffxVBOM1eJUTLC: Part 1 www.youtube.com/watch?v=lL_q2iIfBfIPart 2 www.youtube.com/watch?v=0OYWdjIlK-k&feature=relatedPart 3 www.youtube.com/watch?v=yGVWSXacSb0&feature=relatedPart 4 www.youtube.com/watch?v=d685jSYP_8o&feature=relatedTLC II: Part 1 www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nxw7XS1yoCIPart 2 www.youtube.com/watch?v=rowdH_LHMCQ&feature=related

19. Shawn Micahels vs. Triple H During the summer of 2002, Shawn Michaels made his return to the WWE. He was part of the new NWO angle but it didn't work and he was put with Triple H. Michaels convinced Hemlsey to join him on the Raw brand to which The Game accepted. HBK though was put on as Triple H's manager by Raw GM, Eric Bischoff, because of Michael's back problems. Michaels refused to just be a lowly manager and decided he would team with Triple H only as a tag team partner. Hunter agreed on it and it seemed that D-Generation X would be reformed only for Hunter to Pedigree Shawn in the middle of the ring. A week later on Raw, Shawn is found unconscious and brutally beaten. Hunter goes on to find out who did it to him. A few weeks later, Shawn appears on Raw, still bruised, and with video evidence, proves that Triple H attacked him and challenges him to a match at Summerslam. Hunter agrees and tells him he never like him and only used him to get to the top. Bischoff makes the match between the two an unsanctioned match. At Summerslam, after a 4+ year hiatus, Shawn Michaels won his return match in a show stealer than went nearly 30 minutes. After the match however, Triple H would ambush HBK with two sledgehammer shots to Michael's back. Two months later at The World, Shawn jumped out of his wheelchair and promished to makes Triple H's life a living hell. It started a week later when Shawn cost Triple H a casket match between him and Kane. The next week he would superkick Hunter costing him a tag match against Kane and Booker T. Shawn is included in the 1st ever Elimination Chamber match for Triple H's WWE World Heavyweight Title. The match ended with both Hunter and Shawn one on one with Shawn beating Hunter to become the 2nd WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Shawn's reign didn't last long as a month later, he would lose the title to Triple H in a 3 Stages of Hell match to lose the title. After a feud with Chris Jericho, Michaels went after Triple H and his World Title, but by that time, Triple H had formed Evolution with Ric Flair and two young prodigies in Randy Orton and Batista. Along with Goldberg and Kevin Nash, HBK went through every member of Evolution to finally get another title shot but it was another Elimination Chamber at Summerslam with HBK, HHH, Goldberg, Y2J, Orton and Nash. Unlike the Survivor Series, Triple H walks out still the World Heavyweight Champion. Shawn again went through Evolution and Jericho and GM Eric Bischoff until getting a one on one match with Triple H. On Raw, in Michael's hometown of San Antonio, he got his World title match and went forty minutes. Michaels would hit a superkick on Helmsley and fall back on him and become the new World Heavyweight champion, until Eric Bischoff announces that Shawn's shoulders were down as well and makes the match a draw. The rematch would take place at the Royal Rumble in a Last Man Standing Match for the World Heavyweight title. They tear the house at the Rumble, but both members would be counted out after the brual match. They would main event Wrestlemania 20, with Chris Benoit with Benoit winning the title. The feud would finally end at the Bad Blood PPV inside the Hell in a Cell to end their two year feud with Triple H winning a near hour long match. 18. WCW vs. The NWO In 1996, two of the WWF's biggest names, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash left the company and joined WCW. The biggest problem for WCW was how to use them. Eric Bischoff came up with the idea of the WWF invading them. Scott Hall came out on Nitro one week, interupting a match and cutting a "shoot" promo. When he got to the announce booth, he was confronted by Sting and promised he'd bring backup next week. The following week on Nitro, Kevin Nash debuted and promised to take over. At The Great American Bash, when Hall and Nash crashed the PPV, Eric Bischoff interviewd them and the dubbed Outsiders challenged any three men to face them. When Bischoff refused to tell them who they would face, Nash powerbombed Bischoff off the stage. The hype was made and it finally took place at the 1996 Bash at the Beach PPV and the biggest question being "Who's the third man" WCW picked Randy Savage, Lex Luger and Sting to represent WCW and nobody but Hall and Nash came down. Luger was taken out immediately and when everybody was taken out, Hulk Hogan came down and turned on WCW and with Hall and Nash formed the New World Order. It didn't take the NWO long to claim dominance as Hall and Nash would win the WCW World Tag Team titles and Hogan winning the WCW World Title at the Hog Wild PPV. Over the next few months, more former WWF stars appeared such as Ted DiBiase, the 1-2-3 Kid, now dubed Syxx, Virgil, now named Vincent and Sting. Except it was a fake Sting that led up to the War Games between the NWO and the Four Horsemen which led to the Real Sting's Self Exile of over a year. Syxx would win the Cruiserweight title. Eric Bischoff would join the NWO to make the group more powerful. The NWO kept a stranglehold on the belts which got old very quick and after the blowoff with Sting failed, the WCW booking staff tried everything to make the group credible but they kept adding mid card after low card flunkie included in the once elite group. After a split into two NWOs and a reunited NWO, Fingerpoke of Doom and NWO 2000, guys who protected WCW from the NWO when it first started all joining and fans forgot what the NWO was about and with WCW's ignorance about it, The NWO truely killed WCW, one bad move at a time. 17. Chris Hero vs. "The King of Diamonds" Eddie Kingston Hero and Kingston's feud started in Chikara in early 2005 when Kingston claimed that Hero ran his brother Blackjack Marciano out of wrestling and their feud spilled into CZW where it's been hearled as CZW's best feud. It started on June 11th, 2005 at Violent by Design where Kingston and Hero had their first one on one match in CZW. Hero would get the win thanks to interference from his Kings of Wrestling partner, Claudio Castagnoli. Two months later, both CZW and Chikara held a double header event in the CZW Arena. At the Chikara event, Negative Balance, Hero and Kingston main evented with Hero winning in controversial fashion. Later that night at Deja Vu 3, Kingston called Hero out at the opening of the show. Later that night, Hero and Castagnoli attacked Kingston's BLK OUT stablemate, Ruckus, and Mike Quackenbush. Hero would badmouth Kingston at the announce booth but because of CZW "owner" Maven Bently threating to suspend Kingston if he attacked Hero, he watched his stablemate get beat down. After the show, Hero and Claudio attacked Sabian of BLK OUT, going so far as to Pillmanize his leg. A month later at Big Mutha F'N Deal, Hero and Claudio would shock the world by beating The Tough Crazy Bastards (Necro Butcher and Toby Klein) to win the CZW World Tag Team titles. Kingston promises to get his hands on both Claudio and Hero. A month later, Hero sends Super Dragon to face Kingston to avoid fighting him. Dragon would defeat Kingston with a top rope Pyscho Driver and afterwards, the Kings of Wrestling would attack Kingston and BLK OUT's manager Robbie Marano including having Dragon Curb Stomp him and doing it into Kingston's crotch. The attack left Marano with an injured neck. Kingston's mental state was in bad shape as he would threaten anybody he thought was aligned with Hero and begged and cried to get a match with Hero. Hero would decline but would send Gran Akuma, who gave Kingston a stinger earlier in the year, to take Kingston out for good. They would meet on Oct 8, at Point of No Return where Akuma would work on Kingston's injured neck but the King of Diamonds would get the win with the sickest powerbomb ever. Maven Bently would finally give Kingston a match with Hero the following match at Night of Infamy in a Last Man Standing Match. The match had tons of stiff kicks, punchs and chops. Hero would beat Kingston after delivering three stiff kicks to Kington's crotch to win the match and leaving Kingston coughing blood. A month later at Cage of Death VII, The Kings of Wrestling put the CZW World Tag Team titles on the line against Kingston and Sabian of BLK OUT but Hero would once again pin Kingston with the Hero's Welcome to retain the titles in the wild brawl. A month later at An Afternoon of Main Events, BLK OUT would upset the Kings of Wrestling and Super Dragon in a six man street fight. Hero would split his feud with Kingston and ROH as he would confront Bryan Danielson later in the show and fight him at the ROH show. At Seven Years Strong, Kingston and Sabian took on The Kings of Wrestling for the tag team titles, but Sabian wasn't cleared to wrestle and Kingston faced the Kings in a handicap match until BLK OUT's Joker shocked the crowd by returning after serving the US military in Iraq and along with Kingston dethroned the Kings of Wrestling to win the CZW Tag team titles. The feud would halt as CZW and ROH were fighting amongst themselves. But at Best of the Best 6, after Ruckus won the tournament, Hero would attack the CZW champion and beat him to win the CZW World Title. During his war with ROH, Hero recruited Kingston as his mystery 5th man in Cage of Death, but the alliance was short as they soon started fighting against each other. On Sept 9th at the Chris Ca$h Memorial Show, Kingston would avenge Ruckus by beating Hero for the CZW World title thanks to Joker's interference. Hero demanded a rematch but Kingston would refuse after all the misery Hero put Kingston through the last year. Hero and Claudio would win the CZW Tag Team titles at Last Team Standing, defeating BLK OUT in the 2nd round and Justice Pain and Human Tornado in the finals to complete their dynasty as they would hold the CZW, ROH and Chikara Tag Team titles at the same time. The celebration was short lived though as Kingston and BLK OUT would assault the champs and Kingston would yell at Hero and choke him with his bare hands. At Night of Infamy 5, Kingston would lock Hero out of the building as BLK OUT would double team Claudio and Sabian and Mireno would win the CZW Tag team titles. Hero would get his revenge on Kingston at Cage of Death 8 where Kingston defended the CZW World title against Hero and Justice Pain. Hero would break Kingston's ankle and Pain would win the title. A month later at New Year, New Opportunities, Kingston would come through the crowd to attack Hero and cost him the CZW World Title. Kingston and BLK OUT would bust Hero open and cause a near riot in the CZW Arena with Kingston yelling he's gonna end Hero's career. After the beatdown, Hero challenged Kingston to a match where the loser leaves CZW. The conclusion would come on April 7th, 2007 at Out with the Old, In with the New. As both Kingston and Hero are introduced, they have to be seperated by security that covered the entire ring but they couldn't seperate them and Hero and Kingston started with headbutts, kicks, chops and punches. It then boiled down to a wild fight with both guys busting each other open. Kingston would kick out of Hero's Welcome and then hit it on Hero. Hero would lock in the STCravate but Kingston would get out. The finale saw Kingston hit a Sidedriver Suplex, Lariat and Backfist to the Future on Hero and get the victory, banishing his arch nemesis from CZW and ending the 2 year feud. Hero would give his farewell address and ask Kingston for a handshake only for Eddie to flip him off. Kingston's victory wouldn't be long as a few weeks later, CZW owner John Zandig publicly fire Kingston. Some feud from Chikara is ranked 30 spots higher than Sting/Ric Flair, widely regarded as both men's biggest feuds? This list lacks credibility. Anyway, no I didn't vote since I just saw the thread, but I would defnitely have put Sting/Flair higher than 47th. It was much bigger than Sting's feud with Vader or Flair's feud with Savage.

Im glad someone else has said this before i did, i was gonna wait till the end of the list. Although im enjoying the list it is really smarky. How can Hogan v Sting a feud that ran for 18 months be ranked 48th? And to be quite frank i've never heard of some of the feuds on here, Corino v Homicide? Danielson v Aries? Kingston v Hero? Yet some classic feuds were left out, Foley v Funk, RnR Express v Midnight Express, Jericho v Malenko. I enjoy any list of any kind and i will continue to view this one but if Austin vs McMahon dosen't win, i riot!!!!

16. Ring of Honor vs. Combat Zone Wrestling (Warning, this is going to be long) The biggest feud of 2006 involved two of the top indy companies in the United States. While ROH and CZW made their home in Philadelphia, that was where the similarities ended. ROH built itself on pure wrestling and only had hardcore matches when a feud needed to end. CZW on the other hand was built on a more violent style from Japan and to compete with ECW until it folded. Both of the companies first shows of the year were held on the same day. While ROH played it off as a great day for wrestling fans who could go to the CZW show then come to the ROH show, CZW played it as ROH trying to steal their fans and kept reminding ROH fans of the Rob Feinstein incident. The ROH wrestlers would take those words personaly and the war started on January 14th, 2006 at CZW's An Afternoon of Main Events when ROH World Champion Bryan Danielson went heel on the CZW fans and they didn't deserve to see a ROH show. He would call out CZW Tag Team champion, Chris Hero and the two would brawl until ROH's Nigel McGuiness and Roderick Strong came from the crowd and joined to beat down on Hero until the CZW locker room emptied, chasing Danielson, Strong and Nigel into the parking lot. Later that night at ROH's Hell Freeze's Over, Hero would take Dragon up on his open challenge for the ROH World Title. He would also bring CZW's Adam Flash, Necro Butcher and Nate Webb. Dragon had wrestled earlier in the night, winning the FIP World Title, but in the end, and the CZW wrestlers around the ringDragon would beat Hero and retain the ROH World Title. This would be the start of the feud. Two weeks later at ROH's Tag Wars 2006, Chris Hero and Necro sat down with the fans as they taunted the ROH fans until Ace Steel challenged them to a fight. What ensued was a riot as the ROH locker room would come to Steel's aid. Hero and Necro would get backstage causing more chaos and ROH commissioner Jim Cornette getting his tooth chiped in the brawl and going out to the ring, calling CZW workers a "bunch of garbage wrestlers" and challenged CZW to a fight at March 11th, show Arena Warfare. The next night at Dissension when Cornette tried addressing the crowd, Necro would come into the crowd, holding a ticket. Adam Pearce would take out Necro as would the ROH locker room and throw Necro out of the building. A month later at ROH's 4th Anniversary show, CZW, being led by Hero and Necro, invaded and held the show hostage. Adam Pearce would lead the ROH locker room to the fight and take back the ring but Hero would continue to taunt the ROH fans and say nobody could stop him until Samoa Joe came out and attacked. ROH would get the invaders out of the building and took the brawl to the parking lot. On March 11th, both ROH and CZW would hold shows at the famous ECW Arena with ROH having an afternoon show "Arena Warfare". BJ Whitmer would come out and call out the Necro Butcher but Necro didn't show. He would do so again later in the show except Necro did show with Super Dragon and started to beat down Whitmer until the ROH locker room came out. After the main event, Whitmer would come out again and call out CZW again. Necro, Dragon and some other CZW guys answered the call and beat down Whitmer. Generation Next and the ROH Students came to Whitmer's aid until BLK OUT came out and took out GenNext. CZW's Sonjay Dutt, Nate Webb, B-Boy would join the brawl.
