Chris Dixon is back with the Sioux Falls Storm for the 2014 season. Surprisingly, this leaves me with mixed feelings.

Would you believe a team in Cleveland has started the season 6-0?
That's the Cleveland Gladiators!!

Jesus Portland is awful And I see why Darren Thomas isn't in the NFL I never got why he left Oregon early. He was good there and probably could've lead them to a Natty in 2011. He looked as good as Cam did, if not better in that BCS Title Game.

The AFL's clients, the Pittsburgh Power, have conquered the streak!
Pittsburgh beat Cleveland 48-34 to give the Gladiators their first loss of the season.

So it has come down to this. United Bowl VI. The Sioux Falls Storm. United Conference Champions. 13-1. VS. The Nebraska Danger. Intense Conference Champions. 10-4. The rematch of United Bowl V, where the Storm were victorious 43-40. Will they prevail again in the Championship Finale of the Sioux Falls Arena? Or will it become the Danger Zone, with Nebraska winning their first IFL Crown? Unfortunately, I will be out of town at the races at Route 66 Raceway in Joliet. But I will be watching it when I get back to the hotel Saturday night.

Two weeks to go in the AFL season. And would you believe standing at the top of the mountain at the moment, at 15-1, are..... The Cleveland Gladiators? Really? A Cleveland team standing tall above the rest? Yep. With Arizona's loss Saturday night, the Gladiators are 15-1, and are on top at the moment. And with 7 of their 16 games decided by 7 points or less, including 2 Hail Mary wins over the Philadelphia Soul, and the latest OT win over the San Antonio Talons, I believe it's safe to say that these guys are this generation's Kardiac Kids.

I like the thought of neither Lebron or Manziel bring Cleveland home a championship first

But, the Gladiators have two more games to go, so who knows what will happen.

I like the thought of neither Lebron or Manziel bring Cleveland home a championship first I thought Cleveland would face Arizona in the ArenaBowl, and get absolutely crushed by the Rattlers. But after Saturday night's loss to Spokane, the Rattlers are looking less and less invincible. So, if Cleveland gets there, I could see them shocking the world.

Also, with United Bowl VI two weeks removed, I believe it is as good of a time than any to review the 2014 Indoor Football League Season.
4-Peat? 4-Peat: The Sioux Falls Storm once again reign supreme across the land of Indoor Football, defeating the Nebraska Danger for the second year in the United Bowl, 63-46. The Storm have now won 4 in a row, a feat they achieved also from 2005-2008, with two undefeated seasons in between there. And it was a fond farewell to the home of the Storm for 15 years, the Sioux Falls Arena, as the Storm move to the Denny Sanford Premier Events Center next season. At the arena, the Storm racked up a 42 game winning streak to end it, and finishing with a 113-15 home record. And to top it all off, 8 titles in 10 years. Could the Storm take the title of Greatest Indoor Football Franchise in history? Only time will tell.
Danger Zone: The Nebraska Danger once again prove that they were no one-trick pony, making it back to the United Bowl, only to fall to the team they lost to a season prior, the Sioux Falls Storm. But it proves that the Danger are looking to become a powerhouse franchise in Indoor Football and could be holding the United Bowl Trophy in the near future. And with a strong fanbase behind them in Grand Island, the Danger should be a force to be reckon with for a long time.
Titans Go!: Once again, Cedar Rapids Titans prove to be a force to be reckon with as well, making it back to the United Conference Championship for the second straight year. Yet, they showed they still have a ways to go, as the Storm slaughtered them, 73-36. But with the roster in hand, they've shown that they can be a thorn in the side of the other IFL teams for a while.
Let's kick some ICE!: Another team that looks to be one of the premier teams in the IFL as well, including the 2014 MVP Willie Copeland. However, the Intense Conference Championship showed that the team still has a few things to learn, as they were dominated at home by the Nebraska Danger, 45-15. Another team that has the talent, but still need to prove a thing or two before they ascend to the next level.
Growth to the league: After having the league dwindle from 25 teams in 2010 to only 9 in 2013, the league looked to be having issues, with Tri-Cities and Green Bay in trouble, and Chicago leaving, the league looked to be on its last breath. But the Blizzard and Fever returned, along with a new franchise, the Bemidji Axemen, keeping the league at 9 teams for 2014. And the announcement in the middle of the season that indoor football was returning to Billings in 2015, with the Billings Wolves, the league is up to 10 teams, and is looking to possibly gain two more teams, totaling 12 teams for 2015. Things are finally starting to look up for the IFL.

And the 4-time defending South Division Champs are out, as the Jacksonville Sharks lose to the New Orleans VooDoo 36-35.
