Why couldn't they just go with "Doane"? because WWE would hate for him to become a star under WWE using his real name of "Ken Doane" and then him go to TNA or some other potential competition and legally use the name that people recognize him as in terms of being a made star But couldn't he just use 'Kenny' as his name if he went to TNA?

Anyone else find it funny that JR and King said Dykstra like fifty times?

Kenny Dykstra? Is that his real name? Jeez, it's such a jobber name. It sounds like a guy who you feel to Umaga or Mark Henry when you want to push someone.
When King makes fun of your name, you'll be pushed, and then dropped. Remember our good buddy Gene Snitsky?

If that one would lead to a "Tribute" type gimmick, then I'm all for it. But he needs an appropriate sidekick.

People seriously have issues with this? I just think it's kind of dumb that they won't let him use his real name.

The WWE can claim outright ownership of the name should Ken Doane ever leave so people can't make money off of what they built up (granted Kenny would be the famous one but, its hard to market "Kenny the guy who wrestled for that company in CT. He had the first name of Kenny but, his last name was that of a baseball player for the Phillies and Mets"). I guess business reasons would have been better wording though.

Okay, when you put it in business terms I see what you mean. I assumed you meant that he would be more popular(Unpopular? since he's a heel), because of the last name as opposed to Doane. Okay, my bad.
