Announced in the 250th issue of Nintendo Power, Mega Man 10 has been officially announced for WiiWare. www.nintendopower.com/images/NP250_DLmega.jpgSome of what has been revealed includes an "Easy Mode", one of the Robot Masters being "Sheep Man" (who turns into clouds and shoots bolts down), and that you will be able to play as Mega Man or Proto Man from the get go with a third character in the mix as well (could be hidden or end up being DLC...Proto Man was supposed to be hidden in 9). All in all... No word on an XBLA or PSN release, but it is hard to imagine it won't be.

Why do I get the feeling that even with an Easy Mode some people will still bitch about the difficulty?

I love this news. Mega Man 9 was awesome. I absolutely loved that game. I really needed news like this considering my mood as of late. Finally I have something to look forward to.

Kinda of make sense. The second Megaman had an easy mode... sort of. So I guess it makes sense that the second DLC Sequel should have one too.

Thank god, Mega Man 9 made even the best Mega Man players break down and cry at the difficulty.

Just can't give a f*** after how much of a let down 9 was. Call me when a new Legends or ZX is released.

Thank god, Mega Man 9 made even the best Mega Man players break down and cry at the difficulty. No it didn't. I'm only a casual fan of the series, and even I didn't find very hard. Most of the really hardcore fans I know consider it one of the easiest.

Most of the really hardcore fans I know consider it one of the easiest. My younger bro claims that 9 is harder than 2 but not by much. Megaman 9 was my very first Megaman game and I didn't have much of a problem. It was hard as hell but I knew going into it it was...maybe "I Wanna Be The Guy" (before I quit on Mech Birdo) softened the blow. I just wonder if we'll have a track to top "We're the Robots" (and before any of you think I'm a bandwagoner, I made it there 3 days into Megaman 9 and I bought Megaman 9 when it was released on WiiWare. I liked it before it was cool).

What I ended up getting is something on the level of MM 2, easy as hell and disappointing bosses.

Well this is the hardest one to me, and mind you, I blew through all the older ones. I guess not playing the series in several years just made me rusty for MM9.

Guys, I dunno what you're getting all excited over. They came out with this game on the SNES like 15 years ago:

Oh f*** yes. Here's hoping it'll drop on XBL and PSN too. I imagine it will, but still.
Definitely buying. I loved MM9.

I'm hooked on Battlefield 1943. After I kill enough people in that to earn every honor, I'll give MM9 another crack. Shit is hard.

I didn't think MM9 was incredibly hard. I mean it certainly wasn't easy, but I didn't think it was too hard, either. I'd say it was about perfect in the realm of difficulty, at least for me. Not hard enough to be stupid frustrating, and not easy enough to be boring.
