X-Men Origins: Wolverine
To put it in perspective, I thought Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li was better! At least I could enjoy that on a "so-bad-it's-funny" level. But the only one on that list I've actually seen was Watchmen and I liked that one, even if it dragged a bit.

How anyone could say Paranormal Activity was the worst movie of the year is beyond me. Because it was f***ing terrible, IMO. Doors slamming while people sleep does not make a movie scary, it makes you wonder why you actually paid to see this crap.

Paul Blart is the first movie ever where I texted my buddies on how bad it was. They were sitting to the right and left of me . The Unborn is second, and actually is the worser film, but since I got to see it with girls who are hotter than the main actress in that dreck, it gets a pass .

I didn't even have to see the other options, I knew I was voting for Transformers when I saw this thread. Possibly the worst film I've ever had the misfortune of seeing.

Watchmen with Transformers 2 a close second. As dumb as Transformers was at least it didn't bore me for 3 hours.

They both bored me. Bay, despite all the computers and $200+ million per movie, still has not found the common essence of how to make action exciting.
"No Michael, that's not an idea that is a special effect!"

How anyone could say Paranormal Activity was the worst movie of the year is beyond me. Probably because it got hyped as being the second coming of the Blair Witch, which was also an overhyped suckfest. And, shockingly, didn't deliver. Not the worst of 2009 by any means, but I understand the backlash it gets. Where's the New Moon option? I personally hated it, so that's why PA is there. I completely forgot Twilight, but I can't imagine that too many people on this board saw it anyway.

I liked transformers 2 more than the GI Joe movie, personally.

Can only speak of what I saw (which wasn't many since I deliberately avoided the majority of this list) but my vote goes for Anti Christ. All I'll say is "chaos reigns"...

The Watchman was the biggest waste of f***ing time ever. I don't know if I could ever be more bored in a movie theatre. None of it was exciting, the acting sucked ass, the story was idiotic, it was WAY too long, the music didn't make sense, and I had to watch far too much naked blue guy for my liking.
Screw that stupid movie. I want my 9 bucks back.

You and me both, buddy. As for me, I haven't seen too many newer release films this year (a first for me), but I did see X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and that pissed me the hell off! I regret going to the midnight screening of it. At least the video game based off of the movie kicked ass.

Watchmen with Transformers 2 a close second. As dumb as Transformers was at least it didn't bore me for 3 hours. Really? Transformers2 SEEMED like 4 hours. I remembered at one point I looked at my friends while watching it and said, "THIS would be the only thing that would make me hate Transformers."

I haven't seen Transformers 2, because after the first movie, I refused to see the sequel. 2012 was probably the worst movie I've seen this year. I'm just really fed up with the cliche Hollywood disaster movies, they're all the same.

Indeed, it wasn't perfect, but it was a really good interpretation.

I didn't think the sequel could top the suck of the original, but like you said, this one dragged on nigh forever. Thankfully I only saw it at someone's house and didn't pay for that steaming pile.

Transformers 2 was fine, it was a mindless action film about giant robots hitting each other. It wasn't meant to be anything more.
Watchmen is a candidate for best film of the year in my book.
Year one was quite bad.
Howevermy vote goes to The Taking of Pelham 1,2,3 which was just a very average action film, that sucked in comparison to the original.
The rest I haven't seen.

I found funny people massively bloated, indulgent and rather unfunny. I also found it ironic that everyone rips on Shwarzman's character for doing a low brow sit com and not keeping it real like the stand ups. Unaware that Seth Rogen, Adam Sandler and Jonah Hill do the most easy, playing it safe, cheap laughs, "ooohhh I'm controversial listen to my swearing and dick jokes, oh but I wont touch politics or religion, I might lose part of my paying audience", stand up routines I've ever seen.
