Wow what a shock. He was one of the few really good big guys in the ring, and he knew how to take some great bumps for his size.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

I am extremely sad about this news. Like others, I will always remember the Royal Rumble match he had with Cena as well. I expected it not to be good, and it blew me away in the end. I think it showcased precisely how good of a wrestler he was. He was one of the best monster heels which the WWE has had for long time, and he should have had an amazing career. He also seems to have been a genuinely good person, as I have only ever heard positive stories about him. RIP, Eddie Fatu.

I'll always remember his many great and entertaining matches with Jeff Hardy. Man, those two just had great chemistry in the ring. The Falls Count Anywhere with Jeff is one of the funnest matches I ever saw. I think between that and perhaps the LMS with Cena at the Rumble in 07, those were his two best matches in a match catalog that could be as anyones could be in two years.

He was one of if not THE most athletic & agile big men I ever seen. All I can do is pray & hope he pulls through.

Very, very sad.
An absolutely great "big man" wrestler. I had high hopes of seeing him again.
Gone, but not forgotten. Rest in peace.

If he actually dead yet? People are saying RIP, but does removed from life support truely mean hes dead?

This is horrible. Prayers go out to his family and friends. Thank you, Umaga, for entertaining us. On a side note, I didn't know he lived in Spring, literally about 15 or 20 min from where I am.

I'm not going to say RIP until it's officially confirmed in public that he's died, but I fear I will have to say it some time soon, by the sound of things.

If he actually dead yet? People are saying RIP, but does removed from life support truely mean hes dead? It's been reported that he's been "taken off life support and not in a good way". If he's still alive, it's only a matter of time now, sadly.

I liked Umaga. The Spike is one of my favorite finishers. Hopefully he hasn't passed on yet, but if he has, RIP and thanks for all the good matches.

I remember seeing a picture recently of Eddie Fatu with other wrestlers in a pool during Hogan's tour. I thought Hogan might try to bring him to TNA. I guess we'll never know.
R.I.P.

Again, I don't want to say RIP until something is confirmed, I still want to hold out hope. If or when something happens, I'll delete this post myself. But I do want to take the time to say that one of the best matches I've seen this decade was Umaga vs. Cena. The man's performance in that match made be believe again, and his interactions with Santino were always fun to watch.
Eddie, no matter what happens, i'm praying for you and your family.
