If you are gonna hate on that match, please do it here. Not in the appreciation thread.

OK.
A minor gripe I had with the match (key word: minor) is that I really wanted Orton to tap with a mere second on the clock, rather than five seconds. I think it would have helped build up even more tension if they had to go to a referee decision about whether or not Orton tapped in time.
But that's just nitpicking, really. Hell, even Cena's comeback made a bit more sense than usual (in that it was his second wind/rush of adrenaline.)

There was about 20 consecutive mins of nothing (After the pyro shot, orton/cena back and forth ring to stage, ring to stage)all the way to the AA through the table. Guess that's expected..

Freaking terrible match. no wrestling. bad acting. blowing folk up with fireworks b'christ! Orton tapping to a headlock. false walls. christmas fairy lights = fireworks?
End of the day the commentary team kept talking about the first ironman match. compare and contact folks. constant maneuvers, reverals, highflying spots, suspense of overtime, will to win, each man trying to outdo the other...i could go on all night!
Compare that with tonights disaster

I thought aside from the odd cool spot it was a pretty boring match for the most part, especially in the middle. It wasnt the disaster it could have been but it was not a classic in my opinion.
The ending was weak and predictable and the monthy title changes is a serious issue.

Well at least they recognized the fact that CEna/Orton could never do anything close to that type of storytelling for 60 mins (Hell, many find Bret/HBK pretty bad). This was about the best ironman match they could've pulled off i suppose.

Here's my gripe: I can't believe, in any realm of existence, that Randy Orton would be stupid enough to tap out with just 5 seconds to go, after holding on for 55. He knows where the clock is. If he just holds on for 5 more seconds, don't we break the hold, stop the match, and set up sudden death?
Or am I mistaken, and the sudden death time would just continue on from the second the one hour is up? If that's the case, then I suppose I withdraw my gripe. Even so, somebody the caliber of Orton should not be tapping to end the match. Regardless of how the rest of that match went, you just made your #1 heel look like a weak little puss.

It was a good match IMO, but the ending was just horrible. The wrong man won.

Oh and gluing Cena's face is ridiculous. I guess this is more a PG complain than match one though.

I think I've just outgrown wrestling... Mehh..why? It's not like this was a technical masterpiece that us at the IWC tend to live for..it was a spotfest.

It was bittersweet, on one hand it was a good match(until the ending) and smackdown is safe, on the other you KNOW they'll find a way to find a loophole in the LAST MATCH EVER for these two.

Needed shots of Kofi chasing Legacy through the arena at random points in the match. The ending was a bit weak, but logical. Orton was in the STFU for almost a minute. Couldn't take it anymore. And for once, the STFU actually looked like it could cause damage.
Also, they should've let Cena keep bleeding. That would've really added to the match.

I love how Legacy got chased off by one guy and never managed to come back with 40 minutes left... and people thinking this was the second best match of the year over Jericho/Mysterio, both Chamber matches, Mysterio/Edge, Morrison/Edge, Morrison/Punk, Punk/Hardy, Cena/Edge, and so on and so on.
