Wonder if he is going to break down and get his knee reconstructed. I hope so. I want as much Mr. Wrestling as we can get in the future. Man, for as much as I would love to see him come back, if his knee is as bad as I have heard, I don't know that he could and still be good.

It seriously makes me wonder what they were planning when they thought up that finish. Naturally Danielson was still an Indy wrestler who hadn't yet accepted the WWE offer so they couldn't have planned the title situation back then. Dragon may not have been signed but (according to reports) he made it no secret he was planning on signing with WWE by the end of the summer True. But I doubt they had any exact time frame in mind at that point. Remember, before he was set to face Hero at Guerre Sans Frontiers, Dragon was originally set to face Karl Anderson.

From my experience in following wrestling, I've learnt that it's rarely as serious as they put it out to be. But still, if he has the surgery. I hope Steen comes back in one ass kicking, Generico whipping piece.

ATTEN-TION!
Kenny Omega over Roderick Strong to become the 2009 BOLA winner and new PWG World Champion!
It looks like PWG hits another home run with their 2009 BOLA event. What will be in store next? Who will step up to our new champion? Will Excalibur ever tell his guest commentators to speak closer to the mic? Stay tuned to find out this and more.

Alright, the ROH title made an appearance in PWG, now the PWG belt needs an appearance in ROH.
I know it's not going to happen but, I can dream.

Great f***ing show! Omega deserved to win this but Roddy put up a hell of a fight.
Match of the night: Steenerico vs. Young Bucks

The show was awesome...
The hatred of Kendrick was awesome, and the crowd was in love with Omega until he wrestled Joey Ryan -- it was split for that match.
Great show, with some great moves done... being able to see the guys I see every week (LTP, Ryan, Johnny Goodtime) get to cut loose and do some incredible things was a great sight to see. I mean, Johnny Goodtime flew OVER the ropes and did some flips, in mid-air mind you, down onto the Cutlers on the outside of the ring. LTP did that INSANE reverse tombstone piledriver/headscissor combo thing that made me wet my pants.
A great show, with a very hot crowd.
Kenny Omega falling from the ropes all the way down to the hardwood floor and landing on his head was the sickest and scariest thing I saw all night though, as there was a very audible thud as his cranium hit the ground.
It was my first PWG show, and I doubt it'll be my last.
Although, Steen chewing one of the Young Bucks pieces of gum after it was spit out onto the canvas was pretty disgusting.

All I can say about your sig is "WHO'S READY FOR A MUSTACHE RIDE !?!?!?!?!?!" I remember when Joey Ryan was out here for the IWC Super Indy tournament back in May, great gimmick & awesome talent.

yep great show, those kicks to steen at the end were insane. Gave him a nose bleed. Also the tea bag spots were funny as well. Was an aweosme show. You forgot to mention the youngbucks coming out at the end of the show to congradulate omega wearing his t-shirt. then attacking him from behind as he turned around. Kedrick then came in to get on the beatting. Then el generico ran out to stop it from happening. That lead to a confrontation with omega and generico. omega said he didnt like him but would form a bond over there enimies. Omega and generico have officialy burried the hatchet. So have omega and colt cabanna.

In a year or two I see Omega being the ROH champion as well. Big things for this guy, no doubt.

I'm not as high on Kenny Omega as others, but the shows sound like they made for a fun weekend. I'll definite consider picking up the DVDs when they come out.

Man, what a show. I know some people don't like Omega for some of the comedy stuff he does (The Hadouken as a sometimes finisher, the chainsaw arm, etc.) and really, normally I wouldn't like that stuff at all either, and as I'm not really big into videogames, all Street Fighter reference fly right over my head, but I swear, I have rarely been entertained by someone is wrestling like I have been by Omega.
My friend and I started going to PWG at Expressed Written Consent when Omega fought Generico, with Omega is cowardly heel mode. Once Omega sold Ref Ric Knox's clothesline with a backflip, took Generico's corner boot and Brainbustaaaah all in once sequenence, I was sold. Last night just confirmed that Omega is perfect for PWG. He has the comedy and openess to improvisation that the PWG crowd likes, but he can also turn on the drama for intense action.
After the Steenerico/Bucks match last night, I thought, my god, everyone is going to be dead after that that, this crowd was spent, and yet after a five minute break, the crowd was just as into it and was happy to crown Omega new champion. I loved Hero as their old champ, and I like Roddy too quite a bit, but I really think Omega is the perfect champion for PWG.
I look forward to a feud when Taylor comes back and accuses Omega of retreating back from his inherent lack of Moral Fiber.
