I'd like to say that I've probably spent the most time playing Perfect Dark as far as a single game goes. I would play against those bots in multiplayer NONSTOP for a couple of years. Did my bro steal your account somehow? That seems like how he'd answer word for word.

I believe my avatar/sig answer the question, however, I do have a proclivity for all things Silent Hill.

Mario. Loved the original Mario Bros arcade game, and played Super Mario 1 and 3 for years. Had a blast playing World during the short time I was around it and New Wii and Mario Kart have been my main gaming choices for months now.

In no particular order...
-The DKC series. They took the bare bones of what made Mario, Sonic, and tons of other platformers work and made one of the most addicting and seriously fun platforming series ever. Criminally underrated today, but they're still completely mesmerizing and immersive.
-The Zelda series. While I admit to growing a bit tired of the franchise around Wind Waker, everything before that was spectacular. Give me Ocarina Of Time or Majora's Mask and I'll still get nothing accomplished.
-Sim City and The Sims. Brilliant time wasters, especially if you've got a bit of a God complex.
-GTA. One of the first and best "sandbox" games. Vice City and San Andreas are still something I like to pop in from time to time.
-Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic. See, Star Wars can still be cool if it's done right.

I'd say the Mario series.

Tony Hawk games by far. Even though I haven't played a Tony Hawk game on any seventh generation console but I loved Tony Hawk games so much. Yes even to the point of American Wasteland 2. I am confident enough to say I could probably beat you in any Tony Hawk game on any system that isn't a seventh generation console system.
Runner Ups would be: Metal Gear Solid, Mario, Left for Dead (I don't own a 360 but these games make me want to buy one so bad), and Zelda before Wind Waker (minus the Gameboy/DS games.)

Rock Band 2 (I still play about an hour or two every night or so), Left 4 Dead 1 (we haven't gotten our usual group together for the second one), and myself and Motley, Wolf, KPSin, and others doing Saints Row 2.
Also, Saturday Night Slam Masters.

Rock Band 1 and 2
The Original 4 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games (The three on NES and the one on SNES)
The "new age" Spiderman games (Starting with the original two on the PS1 and continuing into the movie series and such)
Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic series (no, I don't count the upcoming MMORPG as part of the series)
Double Dragon...although really I just got the most play and fun out of the second NES game...which allowed for simaltanious multiplayer action unlike the first game (where you could only play one player at a time) and was actually a crapload of fun unlike the third game (no comment on that).
The Sega Genesis X-men series (X-men and X-men: The Clone Wars)
The Baldur's Gate series (The PS2 games)
The Marvel Ultimate Alliance series

Definately the Zelda games, followed closely by both Warcraft and Half Life.

Pokemon, Fire Emblem, Donkey Kong Country, Ogre Battle, Harvest Moon (particularly Rune Factory) Megaman X (the first three, at least), and Zelda.
I have a feeling that I'll play Pokemon games even when I'm old, gray, and hard of hearing.

I'd like to say that I've probably spent the most time playing Perfect Dark as far as a single game goes. I would play against those bots in multiplayer NONSTOP for a couple of years. This is definitely right up there. I still play that pretty regularly. But, probably the biggest would be Mario. I've played SMB 1-3, SMW, Mario 64, NSMB so much it's insane. Plus, the Mario Kart games. God, I've spent a tonne of time on those And my GF and I got NSMB Wii and Mario Kart Wii, and we're playing them everyday. I haven't been this in love with a Mario game since probably SMW as I am with NSMB Wii. Such an awesome game EDIT: I should also say, that Zelda is right up there with Mario. I've owned every Zelda game except Twilight Princess (was waiting to buy a Wii) and Spirit Tracks (haven't had a chance to buy it yet) and have played them for hours on end. I've beaten them so many times it's recockulous, but I still go back.

Most recently, the Left 4 Dead series. I have an obscene number of hours logged on the sequel and it hasn't even been out for 3 months. All-time, either WWF No Mercy or Blitz 2000 on the N64. A couple multi-player games that I played for countless hours in high school, all the way through college, and still occasionally today.

And of course Punchout!! but that's mainly for Mike Tyson's. Though I love the Wii game and dug the Super NES version.

Although there's not as many games (and yes, I'm aware there are older Japanese ones) I love the Advance Wars series. You can get very serious playing them but even so they're just such damned fun.

I'm more a fan of the sports titles. Madden, NHL, Football Manager, International Cricket Captain.
Oh and the Discworld games, I still loves me some pratchett-esque humor
